Story
Hawthorn was found as a skinny, neglected stray in Wisconsin and was never reclaimed. Hawthorn is a sweet and gentle boy who does well with other dogs and is cat friendly too. He would love to find a home where he can enjoy his golden years and receive the pampering he deserves. As an older fella he is getting all his senior care to keep him comfortable and happy! Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
