Story
Gunner is our featured #MedicalMonday pup, and he’s got quite the story. A transformation that’s nothing short of incredible. When Gunner first came to us, as a local stray with his buddy Koa, he was heartbreakingly thin—his body showing just how much he had been through. On top of that, he was diagnosed with Lyme disease, a condition caused by tick bites that can leave dogs feeling sore, tired, and just not themselves. With proper care, good nutrition, and treatment (antibiotics like Doxycycline), he’s already on the road to feeling better. Now his personality is shining…spunky, playful, and always ready for his next adventure (especially if toys are involved)! What Gunner needs now is someone willing to continue that journey with him—offering patience, love, and a forever home where he can truly thrive.Despite it all, Gunner never lost his spark. Help us give Gunner the happy ending he deserves. Apply to adopt him today!
