Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
🐾 Meet Pam— The Sweetest Companion You Could Ask For! 🐾Looking for a loyal, gentle soul to share your days with? Meet Pamela (Pam), a beautiful German Shepherd mix estimated to be around 8–10 years old. She’s the perfect blend of calm and affectionate, happiest when she’s by your side or relaxing nearby, keeping an eye on her favorite people. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is great with kids — patient, friendly, and always up for a bit of love. Pam is the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart with her loyal eyes and steady presence. She enjoys going for walks, trotting along to sniff the world around her, and has a funny streak when it comes to chasing squirrels (they keep her young at heart!). She did amazing at the groomer and loves a good pampering day.Because she still has that shepherd instinct to explore, she’ll do best in a home with a fenced yard or when kept on a leash during outdoor adventures. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and loyal companion who will adore being part of your family, Pam is your girl. She’s ready to find her forever home — could that be with you? ❤️apply at wbdr.org

Story
Polaris is a young girl who was found dumped on the side of the road with a bag of dog food dumped on the ground as her only help for survival. A good samaritan picked her up and contacted me. Help Polaris never face that kind of treatment again by giving her a forever home. She is very sweet and friendly and great with other dogs and people and kids. She definitely has a prey drive though, which is not at all unusual for dogs, so no kitties or small animals. She walks well on the leash and does well in a crate. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Beyblade-male-neutered-6 months-50 pounds. Meet Beyblade! What an amazing pup! He`s going to make a family very happy. Beyblade is social, smart and eager to learn. He`s big, has thick legs and is still growing! We adore him! If you want to go on hiking adventures, we found out he loves to climb on anything you show him. Downed trees, stumps, benches, he`s game to try! Beyblade is good with other dogs but needs to be separated at feeding time. He lived with a group of young dogs and learned early to compete for food that was given. During his photo shoot we were working on sit and he was catching on quickly. He`s smart and ready to learn your routine! Apply to meet him at www.cchswi.org DATCP License #266742-DS
