Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
***** Willow and Hunter are looking for a special home together so they are members of our Lonely Hearts Club and their adoption fee has been reduced to $150 for the pair. *****Hi there! We’re Willow and Hunter, a couple of sweet, lovable older pups looking for a soft spot to land together. We can both be a little shy at first, but we love pets—so with a little patience (and maybe a few bacon-flavored treats), we’ll warm up quickly! Willow is a big fan of stuffy toys—she loves tossing them in the air and rolling on them outside. She’s also a cuddle bug who will happily crawl into your lap and give kisses. Hunter enjoys playing ball but is just as happy lounging on a thick, comfy bed (or better yet, the couch—we both love napping there!). We’re fairly calm in the house, great at walking together on leash, and absolutely love car rides. We would like it to be just Willow and I as the only dogs in the home, ideally with a yard. Were a bit too loud for apartments, and have to be the only pups for your family! If you’d like to meet us, please ask specifically at the Adoption Center desk—we’re sharing a larger doggie apartment in a non-public area of the shelter. We can’t wait to find our new home and spend our retirement years with a family who will love us as much as we’ll love them!Weight: ~ 75 pounds (Willow) and ~ 84 pounds (Hunter)Adoption fee for the pair of us: $150 +tax

Story
Zorro is a sweet and sensitive girl who is looking for a new place to call home. She can be a bit shy at first and may take some time to warm up, but your patience will be rewarded with gentle affection and a loyal companion. Zorro thrives in a calm, predictable environment and is looking for a home without small children. Due to her fearfulness and discomfort with body handling, she needs a family that understands her boundaries and can offer her the space and support she needs to feel safe. When it comes to other dogs, Zorro benefits from slow and careful introductions. With the right match and gradual socialization, she has the potential to build positive relationships with canine companions. Weight: 52lbs Medical: At this time Zorro appears to be a healthy dog, but she would benefit from getting introduced to her new vet as soon as you can get her in. Adoption Fee: $375+Tax
