Hi, I'm Boomer! I came to the shelter after being surrendered from the only home I've ever known-my family loved me, but life got busy and they no longer had the time I deserve. I'm still the same sweet, friendly, goofy guy though, and I have a real talent for keeping my people laughing! I've got plenty of energy (and if you've had a shepherd before... you already know). I love being active and would thrive with someone who enjoys walks, playtime, and giving me both physical and mental outlets. I'm friendly with kids who are used to big dogs, and I've lived with other dogs before-I was playful and did well with them. Cats, however, are not my thing. My prey drive is strong, so a cat-free home would be best for me. The good news? I already know my basic commands and I'm housebroken, so I come with a solid foundation. I'm just looking for a family who has the time, energy, and love to keep up with me and make me part of their daily life.
