Story
Hello from Miss Zelda!Zelda is an absolute love and does great with the other similarly sized dogs in her foster home. It is clear she has had at least one litter of puppies, but she is now spayed and ready to find her perfect home. She is also fantastic with the two children in the home aged 6 and 13, although her foster has definitely been working on her manners with her in terms of eating food that doesn’t belong to her. Zelda loves the other dogs but is very much driven by human attention and affection. She is extremely food motivated but does not seem to have any toy drive. This beautiful girl would do best in a home with children over age 5 and no small animals including small dogs or cats. She has a definite prey drive.  A home where she will receive lots of love and attention, along with continued training and socialization, is a must for this girl. Zelda is fully house broken and crate trained. If you think your home may be a good match for Zelda, please don’t hesitate to fill out an application at calpaws.org. She can’t wait to meet you! Adoption fees: Adult: 1-6 yrs $400.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm and microchip each dog as well as spay or neuter. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. Please visit https://www.calpaws.org/available-dogs for the adoption application! We are always in need of experienced fosters for the amount of dogs we have coming in. Being a foster is such a rewarding experience. If you are interested please review https://www.calpaws.org/fostering   ##1866612##

Allen, neutered male, 1.5-y-o, 36-lbs If you would like to give ALLEN a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application With a pair of big eyes, on a seemingly oversized head — compared to his small and bony body, little Allen wandered alone around the orchard. He tried to keep out of sight from people, even when the volunteers were doling out food for him. Apparently, he was deeply haunted by multiple attacks in his short three months’ life. After Allen was rescued, his physical revealed that he was severely anemic. Under the loving tender care of his foster family, Allen slowly gained his trust toward people around him and started to play with other dogs in the household. Still, he’s not too comfortable being held by people, but great improvement has shown as time goes by. Allen is now a lively, playful and happy pup when around familiar environment. He is super mellow and well behaved by nature, only a little shy around strangers, especially toward men. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He’ll be a great addition to family with dog! Please watch Allen’s YouTube videos below: Interaction with strangers. http://youtu.be/C5SQk1TLXRk Has no food aggression with human and dogs. http://youtu.be/5CotBDCVFGc OK with cats. http://youtu.be/J-xx61G_DV8 Interact well with dogs. http://youtu.be/Pf8_HKZXfo0 Temperament: Energy level: Medium Ideal home environment: Quiet or active both Is the dog good with strangers: shy The dog is best with children of what age group? Story
Frankie is destined to make someone's life a lot better. Is it you? Frankie is looking for a person who will give him daily runs, hikes, lots of ball-throwing, training, and a "job" to do -- he'll do it all really well and with great enthusiasm!Frankie was loved in his former home but they knew that he needed more time and energy to devote to his exercise and enrichment than they could offer. Frankie is a lover and adores people almost as much as he adores playing fetch. He is also very fond of playing tug, and he excels at it! Frankie has his obedience basics down and learns fast. Frankie is crate trained and seems to be housetrained. ***ADOPTION FEE PAID*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 70.8 Age: 4yrs 1mths 3wks

Story
Hi there, I'm Willow! I'm just a puppy, but I've got a big heart. I love to make friends, especially with cats, and I'm always up for a good cuddle. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'll show you my playful, goofy side. I'm quite smart, too! I love learning new tricks and training keeps me on my toes. Did I mention I'm a hugger? Hugs are my absolute favorite! Despite my playful antics, I can be quite gentle and I promise to make you laugh with my funny little ways. Adopting me means endless love, laughter, and cuddles. I can't wait to meet my forever family! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 44.4 Age: 0yrs 8mths 0wks
