Story
(I'm being fostered in the East Bay and this bio is from my foster home)Bear came into our lives at just two weeks old after being abandoned, and she has been wrapping people around her paws ever since. While she is a tiny puppy now, she is a Shepherd/Rottweiler mix-a combination of two of the most loyal, intelligent, and powerful breeds in the world. We have given her a foundation of love and stability, and now we are looking for a breed-savvy, experienced owner to help her reach her full potential.Bear has had an elite start. She's been fostered in a stable home, socialized with humans of all sizes, and mentored by our three "nanny dogs" (two Pits and a Chiweenie). She is a "rock star" on 12+ hour road trips, showing a level of calm and patience rarely seen in a puppy. She is playful and curious, yet remarkably thoughtful and observant. Bear is kind, gentle, and incredibly smart, but she is also a working-breed mix. As she grows into an adult, she will need more than just affection; she will need structure, clear boundaries, and confident leadership. She is a "thinker" who watches the world with expressive, soulful eyes. An experienced owner will know how to channel that focus into advanced training or mental work to keep her sharp and balanced. We would not recommend her with a cat.Size and Strength: She will likely grow into a substantial dog. We are looking for an owner who understands the importance of early leash discipline and impulse control. If we didn't already have three dogs, Bear would stay with us forever-she is that special. We are looking for a home that appreciates the "diamond" she is but is also prepared for the responsibility of a Shepherd/Rottie mix. We hope to find her a home with experience and someone that can continue training her into the perfect lady! If you are looking for a gentle soul who will grow into your very best friend and protector, Bear is waiting for you. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 10.4 Age: 0yrs 0mths 10wks

Story
Junior is a handsome cream-colored shepsky with a gentle soul and just the right sprinkle of puppy charm. He may still be young, but he’s already showing what a well-mannered, thoughtful boy he’s going to be. Junior is crate trained and potty trained, and he does great with his routine — happily heading outside to do his business and then returning calmly to his crate. He’s still getting the hang of leash walking, but he’s improving and taking it all in stride. Outside, Junior likes to do his own thing, exploring at his own pace with curiosity and confidence. At home, he’s the perfect balance of playful and relaxed. Junior loves to play and soak up affection, but he also knows when it’s time to wind down. When things are calm, you’ll find him happily chewing on a bone or entertaining himself with his toys. He has a wonderful ability to respect boundaries and settle himself, which makes him a joy to have around. Junior would thrive in a home that’s ready to guide a young dog as he continues to grow, learn, and blossom. With his loving nature, good habits, and sweet personality, he’s ready to be someone’s loyal companion and best friend.

Story
Athena is a beautiful brown-and-black shepsky with a petite shepherd build and the sweetest, most gentle heart. From the moment she arrived, she showed just how loving and soft-natured she is, warming up quickly and happily leaning into affection and companionship. Athena is wonderfully well-mannered and eager to please. She already knows sit, paw, and up, and she’s both crate trained and potty trained. She does an excellent job going outside to take care of her business and then calmly returning to her crate, making her routine easy and stress-free. When it comes to activity, Athena is full of joyful energy and absolutely loves to play. She could happily spend her days running, romping, and engaging with her people or canine friends. At the same time, she has a great off switch — when it’s time to relax, she settles beautifully, chewing on her bones or entertaining herself with toys. Athena is also fantastic on leash and truly enjoys her evening walks, whether she’s strolling with the pack or heading out one-on-one for some quality time. She respects boundaries well, is incredibly sweet and submissive in nature, and brings a calm, loving presence to the home. Athena would thrive in a home that’s ready to enjoy her playful spirit while appreciating her gentle, well-balanced temperament. She’s the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into family life and is ready to give her whole heart to the people lucky enough to call her theirs.

Story
Ringo is a 4-year-old German Shepherd mix who was adopted as a puppy from the SF SPCA. He is a loyal, loving, and happy dog who thrives with structure, activity, and plenty of affection. He enjoys two walks a day and a weekly play-group outing, and he settles in well at home during the work day (8–9+ hours). He has been wonderful with the child in his home, though he can be protective when new visitors enter our home. He may jump when unfamiliar people come inside or move in for a hug, but he’s friendly once someone greets him and says hello. On walks, Ringo may bark or lunge at unfamiliar dogs—especially larger dogs—or at runners who pass too closely, though he does very well with dogs and people he knows. Ringo is smart, trainable, and happiest in a calm home with adults or older kids, ideally with adopters who understand or have experience with active working dogs. His family is relocating in 2026 and hopes to find him a loving, stable home where he can continue to thrive.
