Story
Cletus is an easy going, adorable male Golden Retriever/Lab mix, born on October 12, 2024. He is a good family member, crate-trained and mostly house-trained with some support in his new home. Cletus is great with kids, dogs and cats. He might be a bit shy when he first meets new people, but warms up quickly and his goofy, loving personality shines through as you can see in the videos. He’s neutered, and very healthy and happy. The adoption fee is $50.  This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/dog-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina.     Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.March 7, 2026, 12:51 pm

Story
We got Coco from the Prince George's County Humane Society in Upper Marlboro, MD. Coco is around 4 to 5 years old. We are hoping to find someone who will give her daily walks, brushing, and lots of love. She is a little afraid of people and large crowds, but does well with a small family. She is very sweet, calm, loves walks, affection, and attention. She will bark if someone is at the door or when she wants to come inside; otherwise, she is pretty quiet. We would love to keep her, but there is a new baby, and with working, there is not enough time to give her the attention she needs.
