Gwen is a genuinely good dog—she just needs the right environment to prove it.
She’s the kind of dog that doesn’t demand attention. She watches, she learns, and when she feels safe, she gives you everything. Gwen is soft, affectionate, and naturally handler-oriented. Once she decompresses, she becomes deeply connected—following you from room to room, settling at your feet, and choosing you every time.
And here’s the part that matters—Gwen already has a foundation.
She is crate trained, has solid house manners, understands basic 7 commands and walks on leash with no pulling. She understands structure. She responds to leadership. She is not a project dog.
But she is a sensitive dog.
In a calm, structured environment, Gwen relaxes, opens up, and becomes an incredibly easy, rewarding companion. In high-energy, unpredictable environments—especially with younger children—she can become overwhelmed and unsure. Not reactive without reason, not unstable—just honest about her limits.
Gwen will only be placed in a home with children 10 years or older.
She communicates appropriately. She tries to create space. She looks for guidance.
That’s not a flaw. That’s a dog asking for clarity.
Gwen doesn’t need to be fixed—she needs to be placed correctly.
