G is extremely intelligent and able to learn new commands in a day or two. He is great around children and cats. He does have a prey drive so be mindful when walking outside as he like to go after rabbits and squirrels. He is the best Malinois you could ask for.

Story
Meet Minnie   Minnie is a beautiful, gentle girl with soulful eyes and a heart that’s just waiting to belong to someone. She has a calm, loving presence and the kind of quiet sweetness that makes you feel instantly connected to her.   Minnie enjoys being close to her people, whether that’s walking alongside you, relaxing nearby, or simply watching the world go by. She has a nice balance of energy—she’s happy to explore and be outside, but she also settles in easily and appreciates a calm, comfortable space.   She has a soft, affectionate personality and bonds deeply with those she trusts. With a little time to settle in and feel safe, Minnie will become an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.   Minnie would do best with a family that can provide her with patience, consistency, and love as she continues to build confidence and adjust to home life. She appears to be a Labrador mix and is ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her.   Minnie is fostered in Texas.   Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep’s Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview and meet and greet takes place by video call.   Adoption fee: $300Health certificate: $50 to $75Transport fee: varies by locationMicrochip registration: $13   Apply to adopt at pepspalsrescue.org/adopt   ##2716661##

Story
Lucca is an 8-year-old Belgian Malinois (turning 9 in September) that I adopted in 2019. She is incredibly intelligent, loyal, and emotionally aware, and she bonds closely with her person. She thrives in an environment with structure, attention, and consistent mental and physical engagement. Lucca has a strong personality and does best as the only pet in the home, where she can receive focused attention. I am looking for an experienced owner familiar with working breeds (Malinois, German Shepherd, etc.) who understands their needs and can provide daily exercise, engagement, and leadership. Due to my current workload, health considerations, and time constraints, I’m no longer able to give her the level of attention she needs to truly thrive. This decision is about finding her the right environment.

Story
My daughter agreed to take Zora from a rescue but then had some personal setbacks which forced her to give up the dog. Zora tried to climb a fence and got her paw cut by chicken wire, and I agreed to take her while she was healing. She is a beautiful, protective, 3 year old Belgian Malinois with perfect markings and I immediately established a bond with her. Unfortunately, I am too old to keep her and I cannot offer her the life she deserves. She is extremely active, playful and is always by my side, which prevents me from doing the things I need to do. She is also very protective, she does not like strangers or even relatives, and she will bark and growl at people if they get too close. It does not appear that she has had any professional training, and I believe that would help her to respond better to people. She is spayed so cannot be bred. I really love this dog, but she deserves a better life than I can offer her.

Story
Leela has been with me for the last 1.5yrs and has been an incredibly loyal and loving companion. I adopted her at about 10 months old after she was found wandering the CA desert with her sisters. She’s 50% Belgian Malinois, 25% Bulldog, and 25% Staffordshire Terrier. Since PCSing from Southern California, she hasn’t adjusted well to downtown Annapolis, but she’s been thriving at my aunt’s farm in western Virginia where she started spending more time. Leela would do best in a home with land, consistent attention, and plenty of exercise. She’s very smart, athletic, and loves swimming, running, and hiking, though she doesn’t do great in heat due to her bulldog side. She gets along great with other dogs and has done well in daycare and boarding, and she’s been fine around farm animals. She has shown some resource guarding around me, but not with others and can be nervous (which I presume is from her puppy days). Overall, she’s a great dog who just needs to find a better environment

Story
We got Coco from the Prince George's County Humane Society in Upper Marlboro, MD. Coco is around 2 to 3 years old. We are hoping to find someone who will give her daily walks, brushing, and lots of love. She is a little afraid of people and large crowds, but does well with a small family. She is very sweet, calm, loves walks, affection, and attention. She will bark if someone is at the door or when she wants to come inside; otherwise, she is pretty quiet. We would love to keep her, but with working, there is not enough time to give her the attention she needs.
