Meet Jada – Still Waiting for Her Forever Family! â¤ï¸ Jada is the last of her litter still searching for her forever home, and we just can't understand why! At a little over 5 months old, this beautiful girl has a super sweet, loving personality and is more than ready to become someone's best friend. We believe Jada is a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix, although we can't guarantee her breed mix or adult size. One thing we do know is that she's growing into a gorgeous, large-breed puppy who will need a family ready for all the fun that comes with raising a big dog. Jada loves to play with her toys, explore the yard, and then curl up for cuddles when playtime is over. She's affectionate, gentle, and always happy to share puppy kisses with the people she loves. As with any puppy her age, Jada is still learning the basics. She will need a patient family committed to continuing her house training, socialization, and teaching her good manners. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of love, she'll grow into an amazing lifelong companion. Because of her size and puppy energy, Jada would do best with an active family that can provide daily exercise, enrichment, and plenty of time together. A securely fenced yard is strongly preferred so she has a safe place to run, play, and stretch those long legs. Jada has watched all of her siblings find their forever families, and now it's her turn. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate puppy with a heart as big as she is, Jada is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags. Could Jada be the missing piece your family has been waiting for? Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch. Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
