Story
MACDUFF MacDuff’s Must Haves: - MacDuff loves his people and is a gentle giant. True to his lineage, he is happiest when everyone is in the same room under his watchful eye. - One MacDuff is a lot of love! He has no desire to share his home and family with any other pets. - MacDuff would enjoy having a backyard to romp around - somewhere he can stretch his legs, sniff around and explore at his own pace. - Sometimes, doods take a longer journey to adoption. MacDuff has spent time with our training partner before heading to a foster home. As a result, the big guy has honed his skills and is ready to be a great companion. - Adopters MUST live in the DFW-area and be willing to work with MacDuff’s foster and trainer through a slow adoption process. Several meetings will be required before the adoption can be finalized. - MacDuff’s “let’s not” includes fireworks, thunderstorms and vet visits. Therefore, he is currently on an anti-anxiety prescription regimen. A stable, bonded home should lessen the need for the medication over time. - MacDuff’s family will be patient, loving and continue with medication and training. Personality: - MacDuff is a gentle soul who loves heavily and with all of his heart. He rewards patience with total devotion. - Have errands to run? No worries, MacDuff is totally trustworthy left loose in the house while you're gone. - In addition to being smart, he is food motivated and wants to please very badly. This dood is ready to learn new skills! - Big Mac is learning to be brave—he recently watched the neighbors saw down a tree. That was so noisy! The yak chew reward was worth it! - He’s a fabulous companion—part weighted blanket, part trusted confidant, part enthusiastic bestie. 100% good boy! - Did you say “ball”? Yes, please! Are You The One for MacDuff? MacDuff’s adoption fee is $650 . He is HW-negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like MacDuff a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within the DFW area, please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/macduff and select MACDUFF from the drop-down menu.

Story
This is Hermes! He is a dog who needs someone to be willing to dedicate time and money to his wellbeing. He has separation anxiety, and takes daily medication. He also has chronic struvite crystals so is on prescription food. He loves people and will show his affection by bouncing! He loves other dogs, but is reactive (not in aggression but in affection). It took a few years did him to not chase our cat but I don’t know how he would do with a new cat. Our cat is the primary reason we would like to rehome. He has been through many training programs and he loves to learn. He also gives lots is kisses!

Story
Link is a beautiful, intelligent, and deeply loyal dog who has been part of my life since he was a puppy. He is high energy and thrives with structure, and an experienced handler who understands behavior work and can offer long-term commitment. He is fear-reactive toward other dogs (not aggressive), and will need someone patient and confident who can continue supporting him with training lots of space, and consistency.I’m unable to him due to health concerns, and I would deeply appreciate occasional updates and staying in contact on how he is doing after rehoming, especially during his transition period.

Story
Max truly is a great dog! He enjoys walks and spending great quality time with his people. He needs a home with large amount of land and people who have endless time to give to him. He can be a cuddle bug but does not realize he is 90 pounds. He truly does well with all animals and kids, but maybe older kids will fit him best because he is so big. Thunderstorms tend to cause anxiety in Max but he finds comfort in small, dark, laundry rooms with the door open. He would be a great addition to any ranch or farm or anyone with a lot of land and time.

Valentine is currently 35 pounds of love, happiness and puppy playfulness. She loves toys or bones particularly - loves lamb chop and her big antler chew bones. She is crate trained, and sleeps through the night. She is dog friendly and would love a dog sibling to play with in her forever home! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Story
Re-homing - Gentle giant guardian 100lbs of Heart - 16-Month-Old Great Pyrenees Mix Needs Room to Roam! Meet Boi Lucas is a stunning 16-month-old Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for a "territory" to call his own. He is the ultimate "Good Boi" who doesn't quite realize he's no longer a lap-sized puppy. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate guardian who will literally reach out a paw to ask for pets, he is your guy. The Ideal Home: * A "Big Yard" Lifestyle: He needs a large, securely fenced area where he can burn off his teenage energy and perform his
"patrols." * The Family: He is wonderful with people and does well around children. However, due to his size and "zoomie" energy, we recommend a home with older children who won't be accidentally knocked over. * Other Pets: He lives peacefully with a small dog currently, but he is selective about his dog friends. He would do best as an only dog or with a calm, non-dominant companion.
