Story
Meet Roxie! A delightful three-year-old Border Collie/Bernese Mountain Dog mix from Fort Worth, Texas, whose gentle soul and loving eyes are sure to steal your heart! Roxie, a strikingly beautiful large dog weighing about 60 pounds, embodies the loyalty and intelligence of her breeds. She's not just a companion; she's a friend who adores being close, whether it’s snuggling next to you on the rug or occasionally hopping into bed to catch some Z's together! A paragon of good behavior, Roxie is fully crate and house-trained. She responds brilliantly to commands like sit, down, stay, come, and even shake, showing off her good manners daily. She’s a dog who doesn’t jump up on you, preferring to express her affection in more grounded ways—perhaps with a gentle nudge of her nose or a calm presence by your side. Roxie thrives in a space where she can stretch her legs and explore, making her ideal for a home with a backyard where she can roam and play. She’s also a phenomenal watchdog, always alert and observant, making her a reassuring presence in any home. Her favorite toy is an owl squeaky toy, and she loves activities that stimulate both her mind and body, like tug of war or a challenging game of fetch! Though Roxie does well in her crate and is unperturbed by short periods alone, she's not too fond of other dogs or squirrels during her walks, which can make her a bit anxious. Thus, she'd flourish most with an owner who understands her need for daily walks and playtime, all within a safe, secure environment. This wonderful dog is looking for a loving owner who enjoys outdoor activities as much as indoor cuddles, someone who values the serene companionship Roxie offers. She is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and her health checks are all up-to-date, making her ready to start her next chapter with a caring family. Could you be the one to explore new horizons with Roxie, giving her the loving home and the playful yard she dreams of? For adoption inquiries, please contact adopt@joyfulpets.com!

Meet Robert! The epitome of chill! This 4 month old Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix is as calm as they come. He strolls like a pro on a leash, almost has potty training down to a science, and isn't too keen on crates. His favorite pastime? Lounging next to his human, whether it's a guy or gal. Robert's not one to make a racket; in fact, he rarely barks. Plus, he's a social butterfly, getting along famously with both dogs and cats. He's already mingled with kids of all ages and aced the test. The most laid-back puppy you'll ever meet, Robert adores his walks and goes bananas for treats, making him a breeze to train! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Ashley! Hi! My name is Ashley :) I am a 4 month old Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix) and will be 40+ lbs full grown. I am currently still learning to potty train - got it down to the pads, I'm so-so with my crate and have mastered the sit command - give me a treat and I can learn anything. I love to zoom around the backyard with my foster siblings - I'm super dog friendly- so having a fenced yard and a sibling would be nice. I've played with older kids like a pro, but haven't been introduced to cats or little kiddos quite yet. My foster parents say I'm pretty chill for a puppy, but have my moments when I like to somersault for attention. I'm super soft and fuzzy and practically don't shed at all. I'm a bundle of joy and would be the perfect addition to any family!Ashley has a 2/6 heart murmur that will need continuous monitoring through out her life. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Luffy, pronounced Loofy, is almost 4. He loves to be pet and spend time with humans. I have a house full of people that are allergic to him and unfortunately we just don't have time to spend with him or walk him. He also has allergies in the winter, but they have started to clear up now that the grass is getting greener. He is well trained (we sent him to All Dogs Unleashed) he can even put away his toys with the right command. He is also crate and potty trained. He really is a great dog and deserves a family that will love him and spend time with him. Our child has had what the doctor believes could be an allergy related cough for the last few months. We are also looking to downsize to a new place that does not have a yard. If you're looking for a dog that will be happy to see you when you come home and just be happy being next to you, this is our Luffy. I hope you find it in your heart to give him a chance. Thank you for reading!

Story
Junebug, also affectionately nicknamed June, Junie, and Buggy by her foster family, turned 12 weeks old today! She weighed in at 23lbs. Per Wisdom Panel, she is a Great Pyrenees/Australian Cattle Dog mix expected to weigh between 60-97lbs when full grown. Junebug is kennel trained and only wakes up once during the night to go potty. She is doing fantastic with potty training and will let her foster family know that she has to use the restroom by going to the back door. She still has a couple of accidents a day, but she is really catching on! Junebug is very food motivated, which has made training super easy. She knows how to sit, lay down, and place on command. She loves the other dogs in her foster home and would thrive in a forever home with a canine playmate or with owners with Great Pyrenees experience! Her favorite place to nap is on the fireplace or on the hardwood floor. She isn’t a huge fan of dog beds or cuddling. We are guessing with all of her hair, she gets hot easily! If you are interested in adopting Junebug, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Due to her expected adult size, we will not be placing her in an apartment. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1996511##
