Story
MACDUFF MacDuff’s Must Haves: - MacDuff loves his people and is a gentle giant. True to his lineage, he is happiest when everyone is in the same room under his watchful eye. - One MacDuff is a lot of love! He has no desire to share his home and family with any other pets. - Sometimes, doods take a longer journey to adoption. MacDuff has spent time with our training partner before heading to a foster home. As a result, the big guy has honed his skills and is ready to be a great companion. - Adopters MUST live in the DFW-area and be willing to work with MacDuff’s foster and trainer through a slow adoption process. Several meetings will be required before the adoption can be finalized. - MacDuff’s “let’s not” includes fireworks, thunderstorms and vet visits. Therefore, he is currently on an anti-anxiety prescription regimen. A stable, bonded home should lessen the need for the medication over time. - MacDuff’s family will be patient, loving and continue with medication and training. Personality: - MacDuff is a gentle soul who loves heavily and with all of his heart. He rewards patience with total devotion. - Have errands to run? No worries, MacDuff is totally trustworthy left loose in the house while you're gone. - In addition to being smart, he is food motivated and wants to please very badly. This dood is ready to learn new skills! - Big Mac is learning to be brave—he recently watched the neighbors saw down a tree. That was so noisy! The yak chew reward was worth it! - He’s a fabulous companion—part weighted blanket, part trusted confidant, part enthusiastic bestie. 100% good boy! - Did you say “ball”? Yes, please! Are You The One for MacDuff? MacDuff’s adoption fee is $650 . He is HW-negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like MacDuff a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within the DFW area, please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons on this page https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/macduff and select MACDUFF from the drop-down menu.

Story
Meet Titus: A Gentle Giant Looking for Wide Open Spaces Titus is a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his frame. True to his breed, he’s the perfect combination of gentle guardian and devoted companion—loyal to his core, protective of his loved ones, and incredibly sweet with the people he trusts. This beautiful boy thrives when he has room to roam. He loves nothing more than stretching his legs on a good hike or run, then settling in close to his people for some well-deserved relaxation time. Titus forms deep bonds with his family and takes his role as protector seriously, always keeping a watchful eye on his home and the people he loves. Our recent move to the city has been tough on Titus. As a dog bred for open pastures and mountain landscapes, the confined spaces, constant noise, and bustle of urban life have left him anxious and stressed. He needs what his breed was meant for: space to breathe, land to patrol, and the peace that comes with a quieter environment.

Story
Sweet Edward is still searching for his forever home! At 15 weeks old, he’s had a little growth spurt and now weighs 22 lbs. Edward loves other dogs and does an excellent job adjusting his play style to match his canine friends. He will need a forever home with another playful pup who also enjoys a good snuggle session. While he loves cuddling with other dogs, he’s just as happy curling up with his foster family. He is the best snuggler! He is very food motivated and already knows how to kennel on command, as well as sit and lay down. He’s still having the occasional potty accident, but he’s making great progress and is doing an awesome job ringing the potty bells to let his foster family know when he needs to go out. According to Wisdom Panel, Edward is a Great Pyrenees/American Pit Bull mix and is estimated to weigh between 46–77 pounds when fully grown. If you’re interested in adopting Edward, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to his breed mix, we will not be placing him in an apartment. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2626102##
