Story
Meet Sophie – Your Loyal & Loving Companion!   Sophie is a beautiful two-year-old Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as her fluffy coat! This sweet girl adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and animals—except for birds, which she prefers to admire from afar.   Sophie is affectionate, gentle, and always ready for belly rubs or a cozy cuddle session. She would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family, whether lounging by your side or joining you for outdoor adventures. As a typical Great Pyrenees, she’s intelligent and independent but also incredibly devoted to her people.   She would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy the fresh air. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who will bring warmth and joy to your home, Sophie might be the perfect match for you!   Could Sophie be your new best friend? Contact us today to meet this wonderful girl!   - **Name**: Sophie - **Age**: 2 years old - **Breed**: Great Pyrenees - **Gender**: Female     ~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Phoebe!  She is a sweet badger girl rescued from a local shelter.  Born around January 2022, she is fully grown and on the smaller side for the breed at a petite 65 pounds. Phoebe is submissive and a little shy when people approach her, but she will walk right up to anybody on her own for pets and loving. Phoebe is good with other dogs, and will usually submit to a more dominant dog. She enjoys playing with larger dogs, and leaves little dogs alone. She would be good as an only dog if she has other dogs to play with on occasion. She is good on a leash, but would do well in a harness because she has a tendency to pull.  She rides well in a car if she can look out the window.  Phoebe is not a fan of grooming. Phoebe is very afraid of loud noises like thunder and fireworks, so she needs a little nook to hide in when she feels compelled. She’s a very vigilant guard dog, keeping all the pesky squirrels and birds out of her yard. She may not eat a lot the first few days after arriving to her forever home, but will eat regularly once she feels more comfortable. Phoebe is a very loving girl just waiting for the right home. SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Betty White!  Born around Aug 31, 2024, she was found (along with her Pyr mom) when she was a tiny baby at only 2 ½ weeks old. Betty White a super curly tail like her mama.  Based on what her sibling looks like, we’re thinking her daddy was an Australian Cattle Dog.  She could weigh around 80 pounds when fully grown. She is a confident sweet girl who loves to play with her canine foster siblings.  She has been the first at everything in her litter - bravely climbing onto ottomans, doing flying leaps off them, running super-fast, and doing zoomies. Sweet Betty gets along nicely with the other large male and female dogs in her foster home.  She has not been around small-breed dogs, cats, or children. She loves running and exploring in a large yard with her doggie friends.  She must have a large, playful canine companion in her forever home. She if fully potty trained, and she rings a bell when she wants to go outside!  She is kennel trained and goes into her kennel on her own for naps. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION:     1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor.      2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day.  Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy.      3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly.      4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs.  They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors.  https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0 SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old.
