At just under a year old, Freddy is slowly catching up on how to be a well-behaved pet! He loves other dogs (big or small), enjoys his walks, and has endless enthusiasm for toys and playtime. He’s crate-trained, does well being left alone, is learning outdoor potty habits, and faces bath time like a champ. Freddy's time as a stray and at a shelter has left him with some trust, confidence, and guarding issues, but like many young pups, he’s still learning about sharing and respecting boundaries. In the short time he's spent with his foster family, he has responded positively to his foster family's training to overcome his challenges. He’ll thrive with a patient, dog-savvy adopter who understands what it takes to build trust and is willing to continue guiding him as he grows into the best version of himself.
