This is Anna, she is a 4 year old 50 lb hound mix. We brought her in from a neglectful family while we were stationed in Hawaii, with every intention of finding her a safe, loving, and patient home in August. In October 2023 we received last minute orders (20 days) to San Diego. Rather than placing Anna in a shelter, we brought her with us to San Diego, but we are still in search of her forever family. Anna is up to date on all shots and is spayed. She is very very loving as in, wants to live inside your body with you loving. With that being said, she needs the right family. Anna is very anxious, she was left in kennels for almost days at a time before coming to us, and she was very malnourished. When she is left in a kennel she can bark, but if not in a kennel she will eat any food available on counters. She is amazing with our cats, and does get along with our 10 year old Akita/German Shephard mix, but there was some fights the first week. She shows on leash aggression with othe

If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter.
