Story
We adopted sweet Olive from KC Pet Project back in January. She's 4 years old, has the most loving temperament, and gets along beautifully with all people, including with our 18-month-old. She is crate trained, and responds very well to "sit". The reason we're rehoming her is because she's slightly incontinent on fabric surfaces (couch, chair, bed). We've got her on incontinence medication, which has absolutely helped, but with an 18-month old and another baby on the way, we can't afford any more accidents on our couch/bed. Olive would be the perfect pet for a family or person that prefers to keep keep their pets off the couch/bed. She is friendly, loving, gentle, loves walks of any length, scratches behind the ears, and chasing bees.

Sweet and shy, Im a gentle soul who just wants to belong to someone again. Hi, Im HoneyBear. Im a loving girl who lost her home due to housing issues. I know exactly how to be a loyal and devoted confidant and best friend. Ive got experience! I love snuggling, warm blankets and being close to my humans. Milkbones are a favorite treat. I was a free roamer in my previous home because Im housebroken and have good manners in the home. I love bones, and I have mastered sit, down, come and stay. I lived and loved dogs and cats in my previous home plus a couple of teenagers that were my best friends. <br/><br/>I was left alone for hours during the day, and my favorite thing to do while my humans were gone was to find a sun puddle and catch some zzzzs. Im just looking for a comfy place to spend my golden years, soaking up all the love I can. Yes, I want love, but I will love you deeply in return.<br/><br/>Could you be my family? It is very hard living in an animal shelter when you are used to living in a home and being doted on. Please dont forget about me. I want so much to be a valued member of a family again. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy!
