Meet Max Verstappen! At just 4 months old and 9 pounds, Max may be the smallest of the bunch, but don’t let that fool you—he’s bursting with adorable puppy energy and big personality. Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico by The Sato Project, this tiny champ has already shown he’s brave, curious, and full of spirit. Max is playful, affectionate, and always ready for a new adventure. Whether he’s bouncing around with a toy, discovering new smells, or melting into your arms for snuggles, he brings joy to every moment. He’s eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to find the perfect family to cheer him on as he grows. Special Arrival Alert! Max will be flying into Morristown, NJ on December 28th, and he would absolutely love to meet his forever family right at the airport. Talk about the perfect start to a new life together! If he isn’t adopted before his arrival, Max will head into a wonderful foster home in the tristate area, where he’ll keep spreading cuteness like confetti. Story
Yes, I'm the mini Lewis Hamilton, named after the famous F1 racer — I'm 4 months old, 11 pounds, and already a champion of zoomies, cuddle sprints, and snack pit stops. I may be tiny, but trust me… my speed, my ears, and my cuteness are all top-tier performance. I was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico by the amazing humans at The Sato Project. They say I’ve got “adorable puppy energy,” but I prefer to think of myself as a precision-engineered cuddle machine with turbo-wag technology. Breaking News: I’m flying into Morristown, NJ on December 28th, and I would very much love for my forever team—uh, family—to meet me right at the airport. Imagine me trotting out of my crate like a superstar arriving on the grid. Cameras flashing. You crying happy tears. Me wagging like crazy. Honestly? Iconic. If I don’t get adopted before landing, no problem — I’ll be placed in a wonderful foster home in the tristate area where I’ll continue training in snuggles, zoomies, and general excellence. My stats: Zoomies: Lightning fast Snuggles: Gold medalist Treat motivation: Maxed out Puppy eyes: Highly effective Tail wag: Smooth, consistent, aerodynamic So… are you ready to take home your newest champion? Story
Thor, Curr/Shar Pei mix, Black, Male neutered, 5-6 years old Thor is a sweet boy who is very anxious and nervous in the shelter environment.  He enjoys being around people and likes to get pets and attention, but he needs a family that understands he will need some time to settle into his new home.  Thor seemed to do okay with other dogs once given some time to get used to them, however he is afraid of cats.  He needs a home without children, as they may be too much for him.   **This dog is at the Ocean County Animal Facility North located at 615 Fremont Ave, Jackson NJ (off of Hope Chapel Rd).  All dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and have age appropriate shots.** To adopt our dogs you must come to the facility with your entire family, including dogs, to meet with our staff and the dog you are interested in. We are open to the public seven days a week between the hours of 1pm and 4pm.   Please call our facility at 732-657-8086 for more information about any of our pets! August 6, 2025, 9:35 am
