She's short and squat and sweet as can be. Gabby is taking time to adjust to her new surroundings and is very hesitant of her new digs. She's currently decided that her foster parents' bedroom on the 2nd floor is a good place to chill, and is just beginning to get comfortable hanging out on the 1st floor. Her foster family is going to be working diligently on helping her get adjusted to home life. She is fearful of men and as a result is very cautious around them. Whoever decides to make Gabby their forever friend will need to be patient and dedicated in continuing her training. She will reward your efforts with her attention and lots of sniffs. ~ Caspian is about 56lbs, and 12 years old (but you'd never know it). We think he's a black mouth cur mix. He's up for cuddle time or play time whenever you are. He's a sweet boy  who is easy to get along with loves  everyone and affection.  He may be a senior but he doesn't seem to know it.  He loves his walks and running in the yard, loves to snuggle and take long naps too.  He would do best in a home without small children. This beautiful, easy-going girl is Harper. She’s looking for the perfect home to settle into and watch the Phillies (check out her hat)! Her foster family has taught her all about being a good girl and using her manners. She is around 2-3 years old and weighs 65 pounds. She is not a big girl, just muscular and healthy.  Her favorite things (other than her people) are laying in the sun, looking out the door, and taking walks. She is great on leash, but can be strong at times. She loves to cuddle up on the couch for a good movie and relaxing. She is the perfect girl indoors and can be left out without messing with anything. She is crate training too if needed and house trained. She is great in the car and listens well to commands. She is so smart and will learn routines quickly. She is not picky with her treats or toys. She is happy to play fetch in the yard or chew on a bone inside. She will bark if someone comes to the door. She will fit perfectly in any home that’s looking for a sweet dog. She is amazing with kids. While she is not aggressive with other dogs, we think she does prefer to have the house to herself. My name is Alonzo! I am about 60 lbs and about 2 to 2.5 years old and a Black Mouth Cur mix. I probably have a little boxer or hound in me also! I walk well on leash, I am great with other dogs. I am active, affectionate and a big mush! A fenced in yard would be ideal for me but I could also do just fine being leash walked as long as my people were up for some longer strolls and adventures. And, in fact, leash walking would be awesome so I can meet new people and see new sights and sounds. I love toys and romping with my friends! I have been around children as young as 4 and even though I might knock a young child over (which just happens sometimes), I was really gentle and interested. I think I would love to live with kids. I can be crated - I don't love it but I can settle in. Oh and... No on cats! I am really such a good boy - I will make a good, loyal and fun companion - I just need a chance! Note: I really think I belong in my human's lap - I may have an issue with my idea of personal space - ha!
