Hello, my name is Finn, and I love being petted, scratched, and hugged ... so much so that I will gently nudge you to ask for more. Do you know what makes me really happy? Going for walks! I get really excited when I see a leash approaching me-let's go! I'm an ideal companion for an active family or someone who enjoys walks, daily runs, and maybe even hiking. I enjoy riding in the car, so you may take me with you on a drive, to the park, or anywhere-I don't care as long as I'm with you.I also enjoy playing with toys and other dogs. My favorite treat is a peanut butter stuffed Kong ... I LOVE those! I am potty-trained and crate-trained, and I would love your help with improving my leash manners. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I'm not a fan of cats so it's best that I don't live with them, but other dogs and children over the age of 12 would be fine. One of our volunteers took me home with her for a couple of days and, boy, was that great! I made myself right at home in her house. She said I was the perfect house guest and slept all night in a dog bed beside her bed. I really enjoyed playing outside in her backyard and then coming in for a snooze. I get my barking done when I'm in the kennel, but I didn't bark at all during this adventure. If something scares me, I might bark at that-just so you know! How would you like to have me as your constant companion and best friend? We could have a blast together, and I hope you will come meet me soon. Love, FinnP. S.
