Meet Rooster! Introducing Rooster, a handsome boy with a gentle heart who’s ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own. While he may be a little shy at first, once he feels safe and comfortable, his loving personality truly shines. Sweet & ResilientRooster came to us as part of a recent shelter rescue after being surrendered by a family who no longer wanted him. Despite the changes in his life, he remains incredibly kind, loving, and eager to bond with people who show him patience and care. Shy at First, Loving ForeverNew situations can make him a little nervous at first, but give him some time and you’ll quickly see his goofy, affectionate side come out. He’s the type of dog who forms deep connections and will be a loyal companion once he trusts you. Dog Friendly & Ready to ThriveRooster does well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion to help boost his confidence. With gentle guidance and encouragement, he continues to blossom more every day. Best Home for RoosterRooster would thrive with an active family willing to help build his confidence and continue socializing him at his own pace. He may do best in a home with older children who can respect his gentle and sometimes shy nature. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Rooster may just be the perfect match for your family ##2732563##

Story
Meet Kalina   Kalina is a beautiful, 6-year-old ,Bloodhound mix, girl who weighs about 80 pounds of pure heart and quiet hope.   This lovely lady didn’t have the easiest start in life. Her origin: a backyard breeder, so Kalina missed out on socialization and gentle handling every dog deserves. Because of that, she can be quite shy at first, especially around new people and in new places. But once she feels safe, her true personality shines through: a sweet, goofy, playful soul.   Kalina has the most velvety, deep red, soft coat and the deepest, most soulful eyes that seem to understand everything. She’s already house trained and is incredibly loyal once she bonds with you. Because of her past, Kalina would do best in a home with a patient, understanding adopter who’s ready to give her the time, consistency, and gentle love she needs to blossom. She would especially thrive with a companion dog to help boost her confidence and give her a built-in playmate and friend.   If you have a calm, loving home and are willing to be Kalina’s safe place, she will repay you with the kind of deep, unwavering loyalty and quiet joy that only a Bloodhound mix can offer. She’s ready to leave her prior life behind and write a beautiful new chapter with someone who sees how special she is. Story
Meet Isabelle, the quiet girl who needs time to feel safe. Isabelle is a 8-year-old sweetheart with a tender heart and a cautious nature. She has not had much adoption interest, and we think it may be because she is not the kind of dog who shows her full personality right away. Isabelle needs someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to give her the time and space to build trust. Isabelle has some stranger-danger tendencies and can be fearful of new people. She is not a dog who wants strangers to rush up, reach for her, or expect instant affection. She needs slow introductions, patience, and people who will let her become familiar at her own pace. Once Isabelle feels safe, her sweet and affectionate side begins to shine. She wants to be loved — she just needs to believe she is safe first. Isabelle does best in a calm, peaceful environment. Loud noises can make her nervous, and busy, high-energy homes may be overwhelming for her. She would be happiest with adults or calm older teens who can offer consistency, kindness, and a quiet routine. She enjoys the simple comforts: tasty treats, a soft place to rest, and a comfortable dog bed for long naps. Treats are a great way to help her build confidence and positive associations. Isabelle gets along well with calm, easygoing cats and dogs. High-energy or overly enthusiastic dogs can make her nervous, especially if they get too close too quickly. A calm dog companion may help her feel more secure, but she would also do well in a peaceful home where her needs are respected. Isabelle is not looking for chaos or constant activity. She is looking for a soft place to land, patient people to trust, and a home where she can finally relax. Isabelle at a glance: * 8 years old * Sweet, tender-hearted, and cautious * Fearful of strangers / stranger-danger tendencies * Needs slow introductions and time to build trust * Best in a calm, quiet home * Not a fan of loud noises * Loves treats * Loves a comfortable dog bed for naps * Good with calm, easygoing dogs and cats * May do well with a calm dog companion * Needs patient adopters who understand shy or fearful dogs To view additional photos of Isabelle, please visit https://www.pawsumes.com/photos/28057/isabelle To adopt, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.threepawsrescue.org/adoption-application/ For information about adoption fee, please visit https://www.threepawsrescue.org/adoption-fees/ To learn about the adoption process, please visit https://www.threepawsrescue.org/adoption-process/ ** Please note that the breeds listed are our best guesses based on physical appearance and behavioral traits. No DNA testing has been conducted to verify the breed. As a result, the actual breed or breed mix may differ from our assessment. Thank you for your understanding. **
