Story
Gibby is an AKC Georgia Bloodhound. She's well trained but does have a problem with listening to commands at times. Her current home has 2 cats and a 5 year old. She is crate trained, house trained and knows basic commands. I think her stubbornness to follow commands come from her hound dog nature to explore no matter what. While Gibby is a doggy-dog, she almost never barks or howls. Gibby enjoys her Kong, Cow hooves, deer antlers, naps, and hot water poured on her kibbles. Gibby was born in May 2022 and we have all her AKC paperwork and vet records. We are hoping to find Gibby home that can provide her with more space and flexibility to be the hound dog she is.

Story
My name is Jolene Piper, and I am pretty sure I'm the inspiration behind Dolly Parton's song, Jolene. The lyrics perfectly describe me:  "Your beauty is beyond compare with flaming locks of auburn hair (fur).  Your smile is like a breath of spring; your bark is soft like summer rain."   However, I would never try to steal anyone's man. I'm only interested in finding a loving family of my own. I'm two years old and weigh about 70 pounds. I'm well-behaved indoors and am both house and crate-trained. I'm also pretty good on a leash, although my nose sometimes makes me pull a little (it's hard when you're a  Bloodhound!).  I will admit, little children make me nervous, maybe because they are loud and tun around a lot. So I need a home where the people are at 15-years old and up My foster says I am "as sweet as can be and don't have a mean bone in my body," which means I'm a good girl. And while I may be a little shy initially, I warm up quickly.   If you're interested in adopting me, please complete an adoption application on the website below. And don't worry, I won't try to take your man!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
