Story
It’s summertime — the perfect season to grab your Topo Chico and come adopt Tico!Tico can be a bit timid in the scary shelter environment. However, once outside, you can see his big personality in a small package! He loves to play and is very self-entertaining, be it with balls or rope toys or whatever he’s given! In addition to his playful side, Tico is a gentleman. He will sit for treats and is good on leash. Tico recently got to meet another dog here at the shelter and did well. He might enjoy having a calm, confident, canine sibling in his new home.If Tico sounds like the dog for you, come meet him today at our Midtown location: 981 Howell Mill Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30318

Story
Hey there, wonderful folks! I'm Lovell, and I'm here to inject some high-energy fun and excitement into your life. Let's dive into what makes me tick and why I could be the perfect addition to your family. When it comes to my activity level, "high, high energy" is my middle name! I'm always ready for action, playtime, and new adventures. If you're someone who loves to stay active and engaged, we're going to get along like a house on fire.Meeting new people is one of my favorite things to do. I'm excited and interested in making new friends, whether they're human or furry. I'll wag my tail, give you my warmest smile, and let you know just how happy I am to be around.Speaking of furry friends, I'm a happy and excited soul when it comes to dogs. I love their company, and I can't help but show my enthusiasm whenever I see them. I'm the kind of pup who believes that life is better with friends, both old and new. Now, let's talk about being petted. I'm all for it! I seek out those cuddles and pets - they make me feel loved and cherished. Who can resist a good belly rub or scratch behind the ears?I'm a fun-loving guy who's always up for a good run and play session. Leash manners are something I'm working on, but I'm smart and eager to learn. I already know some commands like "sit" and "down," and I'm ready to impress you with my smarts. So, what makes me special? Well, I'm a burst of energy, a bundle of joy, and a loyal companion all rolled into one. I'm ready to fill your days with laughter, excitement, and endless cuddles. For my perfect family, I'm looking for someone who shares my love for play and adventure. If you're an active and engaged individual or family who's ready to embrace life to the fullest, then I'm the pup for you. Let's make memories, explore the world together, and create a bond that'll last a lifetime. Can't wait to meet you and become a part of your amazing journey!Love,LovellP.S. I qualify for the Foster First Program so you can take me home for two weeks to see how we get along before deciding to adopt me.

Story
Rashad is my very first dog and I am sad I have to find him a new home. He is about a year and a half and I adopted him from a local shelter early June. Rashad is very energetic and always ready for adventures. He loves to eat and cuddle on the couch to watch Tom and Jerry. He is young and needs more training, but he already knows basic commands. I recently had a major change and my schedule is now busier than before. I unfortunately don’t have the time to give Rashad what he needs. Looking for a loving home that will keep him long term. Please note he is healthy and up to date on all vaccines, however, he does tend to be car sick. I will provide new owners with all supplies needed to care for him including his cage, his favorite blankets, a month supply of his favorite treats and bones, dental treats, and largest bag of his favorite food. I don’t want to have to surrender him to a shelter and I just want him to have a shot at a great life.

Story
This beautiful lady is Champion! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 8/4 with her best friend, Axis, and no one has come to reclaim them. The volunteers describe both girls as sweet, loving, and playful. Both of them have had puppies in the past, but they'll soon be taking the "no more puppies" pledge! Both girls also know how to sit nicely when asked. Since they seem to have been together their whole lives, it would be nice to see them adopted together. Anyways, we always say two dogs are better than one! Champion is approximately 1.5 years old, and she weighs 56 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and spayed; she will be microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet this lady in run 77; her ID # is 648215. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an appointment, go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you. Thank you for considering a Cobb pet!
