Story
Duke is a loving guy who weighs just under 70lbs.  He is a sweetheart.  Shy at first but once he opens his heart, he will totally capture yours! His playfulness and energy does not show his age.  He's still got all the pep in his step and loves to play!  Tug of War is his favorite game.  He loves to chase balls and zoom around the yard like a puppy at times.  Duke loves sunbathing, walks great on a leash and does well in the car.  Snacks are definately one of his favoritest things ever. Duke is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands and even does well getting his nails done and visiting the vet.He is very treat and toy motivated and it brings him much joy to make his humans happy! NO CATS or small animals for Duke please.  He does well with other, friendly dogs with slow introduction.  He can have intense, playful energy but for the right dog, would make a great companion.  Duke would also be more than happy being the only pet in the home.  Duke prefers older (if any) children.  The "chaos" that sometimes comes with smaller children in a home, make him nervous and he will try to get away from them.  He does great with older or more experienced children. He loves to share the bed with his people, and will always let you know if there is a stranger at the gate or someone at the door!  Duke is big, strong and often clumsy, but he is also a love and a joy to spend time with. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.  Duke is heartworm negative and on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. He is totally set until November 2025! Rusk was dumped on a country road and a nice lady took him in but could not keep. We have been able to get all of his vetting done but he needs a foster or a loving home. He is such a sweet boy and would love to have a family to call his own. He does have to take anxiety meds at this time. He has been diagnosed with OCD and anxiety. He needs a special home to love him.

Bowie and his brother Boyd were abandoned and found on a country road. They are both young adults, very friendly and love to go for walks. Their cattle dog background is evident in their watchful and alert nature. Each would love to have a furever home with a nice comfortable doggie bed and a great human they can love furever. Sweet Cora has been at Furry Friendzy for two years. Hard to believe that someone as no snatched uip this girl. She is very people oriented and will be her human's shadow for sure. She walks great on a leash, senses when the human walker slows down and just sits, loves to cuddle; just a perfect girl all around. The only thing she is not crazy about are other dogs. We are sure she can be taught to get along, it will just require a little patience. Please give her a chance ..... and a furever home!
