Ms. Maxine is here and ready to shine! With a million dollar smile plastered on her face at all times this momma is looking for a family to finally call her own! Maxine is a great dog with a wonderful personality and temperament. On top of this she gave birth and raised a whole litter of puppies, talk about a saint! Maxine is athletic and young at soul girl. She would love a happy, outgoing, fun loving family!! Maxine loves playing games and snuggling up, you'll rarely find a moment that she isn't cuddled up to you looking for scratches or some pats on the head. She is a sweet and very smart girl, loves loves to hang with her doggy friends and would nair leave a beautiful blue/grey hair on your "fur"niture!! Just kidding, I do shed but my fur is a real cool glitter color!! Some basic information about Maxine; she is female, Blue Lacy/Lab mix, and is large sized girl. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Animal Information: Alfalfa is a handsome 2-year-old, 50-pound, male Doberman Pinscher mix with the sweetest presence to match his good looks. He was at risk at the Stanislaus shelter, and after seeing his notes and videos we knew we had to save him. According to staff, this sweetheart absolutely loves attention and is always happy to soak up affection from his people. He's patient in his kennel, easy to leash, and walks nicely on leash with only minor pulling. Once he's in the yard, his playful side shines -- get ready for some serious zoomies! Alfalfa enjoy being pet all over and is especially a fan of booty scratches. While he can be a little jumpy when excited, he listens well to "no" and "down", already knows how to sit and is eager to please. As a bonus, he's incredibly photogenic and always camera-ready! Foster Profile:   Alfalfa is a sweet boy with lots of love to give! He is energetic but not 'wild' and would make a great hiking or jogging buddy. He loves fetch in the yard, going on walks, and hanging out with his people getting pets and love. He is good in his crate, but can be vocal when left alone so we are not considering apartments for him at this time. He is potty trained, and rides well in the car. Alfalfa can be a bit mischievous, and is learning the ropes of being in a house, but with proper guidance we believe he will thrive. He is very food motivated and wants to please, making training good stimulation for him.  As Alfalfa has settled in he has demonstrated some leash reactivity as well as guardian breed behavior with new people. He is great with other dogs off leash and responds to their well to their c o rrections if they aren't up for his enthusiasm. Alfie is a smart, trainable guy, who will benefit from an owner with strong leadership skills and large breed experience who is willing to continue his early start in training. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Animal Information:  Lelo is  an estimated 13 week old female Cattle Dog/Terrier X. She  arrived at Caddo Parrish Animal Services in Louisianna as a stray along with her siblings Moe & Remi as strays so not much is know about her background.  We were asked to take them by our rescue partner Tail Lights Rescue Project and couldn't say no.They are now out of the shelter in a loving foster home awaiting transport to the PNW. Foster Profile: Lelo is an expressive and cheerful girl who will show and tell you exactly how she feels. She loves when you sing to her, and doesn’t even care if you’re off-key. But she’ll also groan like a teenager about things that annoy her, like an empty food bowl or the rain and cold on a walk! Aside from that and her playful growls when shaking the toy of her latest obsession, she’s not very vocal and only really barks when startled. When walking on her leash she’s mostly uninterested in the other dogs she passes. Lelo considers her crate a safe space and chews her teething toys there during the day, eagerly awaiting meal time (which she also enjoys in her crate). She’s taken well to house training and sleeps in her crate through most of the night, using expressive groans to let us know when it’s time for a quick potty break. If it’s raining, cold, and windy, she gets quite moody about being outside, shivering and whining… but this inspires her to get her business done very quickly, after which she’s ready to be back inside. The Seattle weather can certainly take some credit for house training this doll! Lelo behaves well around cats and other dogs and would do just fine in a household with either, as long as she had her own space or crate to retreat to when needed. Her routine includes a lengthier morning walk after breakfast to help her exercise and expend energy, alternating between naps, potty breaks, and chewing her toys during the day, a nice dinner in her puzzle feeder and final potty breaks before tucking in for the night - which she typically does on her own when ready. lelo would love a home with a securely fenced yard and a canine companion to play with or an active family that can meet her exercise needs.
