Cooper is a 4-year-old Bluetick Coonhound with a big personality and an even bigger heart. We adopted him when he was around 1–2 years old, and he’s been the most loyal, loving companion ever since. He’s up to date on all his vaccinations and takes regular flea/tick preventative. Cooper is incredibly social—he gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs. He especially thrives in a home with other pups to play with, as he has lots of playful energy to share. As a working breed, Cooper would do best with some space to run and explore—he’d be in heaven on a property with land or a big yard. When he’s all tuckered out, Cooper transforms into the sweetest cuddle bug. He loves hugs, snuggles, and being as close as possible to his humans. We’re devastated to be rehoming him, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re moving from a house to an apartment without a yard. Cooper deserves more space and a life filled with the joy and freedom he loves so much. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and loyal best friend—Cooper’s your guy.

Hi there! My name is Zeus, and I have a tale to tell. I was left tied up and alone outside of TLP Headquarters, but thankfully, the rescue took me in and is helping me learn about love, trust, and manners. I'm a young, very active guy, so my ideal family would be one that loves the great outdoors—hiking, exploring, swimming, and playing fetch. Oh, and I absolutely love balls! I've got to be honest with you—I'm not a fan of my crate. I'm trying to learn that it's my very own "condo," but it's still a work in progress. My trainer says I have a lot of puppy tendencies like jumping (we're working on that), chewing on bones, getting the zoomies, and still need guidance to understand my boundaries. My trainer also says I’m a natural when it comes to exploring my environment with my nose. (Could be the tick hound in me) And that I want my human to guide me and give me direction. This is the way I create a bound and it’s very important to me. I really am a sweet boy that craves human affection and would love to be in a home with other doggos, kiddos, and of course, my adult humans. Together we can have the best happily ever after! Copper has always been gentle with children (he's used to living with an 8 yr old and a 2 yr old), but would do best in a home with kiddos that are older than 7- he's big and clumsy, and prefers to not share his bones. He gets along with other large and friendly dogs and is always a favorite at doggy daycare! The family is moving from a large home and backyard to an apartment, and would like a more suitable lifestyle for him. He loves to go camping, swimming at the lake, and helps on trips to the hardware store!

Four is a Bluetick Coonhound that has been with my family for 6 years. She’s great with family, kids, and anyone that’s ever come to my home. We rescued her from a friend in Oklahoma that raised hunting dogs. Shes very calm and quiet. She is probably close to 10 yrs old but she still gets around with the younger dogs great. Roxi is a five-year-old Catahoula/Pit mix who weighs 66 Lbs. She was surrendered to a city shelter when her owner moved away and could not take her but she's now safe in foster care. Roxi loves meeting new people and would benefit from an active family since she has lots of energy. She's always up for adventures and belly rubs, loves chasing a tennis ball and learning new commands. Roxi loves going for walks and loves meeting new people. She is 100% house trained and excellent with kids of all ages. She would do great in a home with male dogs her size or larger or as an only pet. She's not recommended in a home with cats, small dogs, or female dogs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. In 2019 after my cat died, I adopted Angus from a shelter in Killeen. He has been a comfort through some very tough times so it makes rehoming him a hard decision. Angus is 6 years old. He needs to be in a loving home with a big yard so he can run. He needs to be with a family who will love him and a family he can share his love with. Angus is fun-loving, goofy, attentive, loyal, gentle, sweet, and playful. He loves to cuddle and sometimes he needs to be reminded that he's not a lapdog.
