What a distinguished and handsome young man! Schuyler came to us as a puppy and grew up to be a big guy. As good looking as he is, it is difficult to understand why he is still with us at almost one and a half years old. Schuyler would do great in just about any home and be a wonderful companion on walks and hikes. He is a little reserved at this point, having been here so long, but usually comes out and lets his personality shine quickly. How about it? Come meet this wonderful boy!

Sunny is a very unique looking young lady considering her Doberman and Coonhound parents. She definitely has the long legged and slender build of a Dobie. She would be a great companion on walks or jogs and snuggles on the sofa as well as she is a very loving girl. She has been with us for more than a year! Please give her a home where she can spread her love forever!

Story
Meet Billie Jean, a 1-year-old Blue Tick Coonhound mix who is playful, goofy, and always ready to be part of the action. She loves walks, treats, toys, and making the rounds to check in on all of her neighborhood friends. Billie does well with kids, cats, and other dogs, and especially enjoys having a playful canine buddy who can match her energy. She can be a little shy with new people or unfamiliar places, but once she warms up, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Billie is high-energy, treat-motivated, leash trained, and potty trained. She would happily walk the same two blocks all day if you let her, and she loves playing with other dogs. She does best with dogs who enjoy her lanky, enthusiastic play style and is very respectful when another animal gives her a correction. Billie would likely thrive in a home with another larger dog to help show her the ropes. She does have separation anxiety and can be quite vocal when left alone, so a home without shared walls would be ideal. Billie came into care underweight and scared, and while she has made great progress, she will need a patient family willing to help her continue building confidence and security. She is also heartworm positive and has already completed the first half of treatment. Her future family will need to help her finish treatment with veterinary guidance, which is included in her adoption fee. If you are looking for a loyal shadow with velvet ears, a big personality, and a whole lot of love to give, Billie Jean may be your girl. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
I have had Grizz since I adopted him when he was a pup. Always has been a very smart dog. Learns fast and is very food and affection motivated. Loves people more than anything else and has a bit of separation anxiety. I have gone through a BIG change in my life and I no longer have the time or support to have him. He needs a home where he will get ample attention, walks, and can be the center of attention, because thats what he truly wants. Even though he is good in a pack, living with my mom’s 3 dogs now. Can be food possessive. LOVES to chew on something he likes. Loves specific toys and will come will his things. Multiple crates of you’d like and his toys.Im heartbroken I have to give him up, he is a good boy with some quirks. Fun personality. He just needs a home to finish his older years with someone who has more time than I now have. He will love you the most if you treat him well. Has a lot of life in him but loves a good nap.Adoption fee will be donated to a rescue group.

Max is a great pup! I am needing to have him rehomed because my husband recently died (mainly his dog) and with my allergies, and living in an apartment now. He is a wonderful companion and very loving. He gets along well with all kinds oif people and animals. My deceased husband used to take him to dog park along with our other small dog and he always got along well with others.
