Story
My adoption fee is free! (License fees still apply.)Biscuit is a mellow dog. She likes sleeping in late and plenty of good yummies to taste. She loves sticks and will get the zoomies if she finds an especially good one! Biscuit likes going for medium-length hikes and enjoys sniffs on the beach; her favorite thing ever is going for a leisurely sniff. She's a gentle walk on-leash and likes to take it nice and easy. She's a very opinionated girl who has lots on her mind and wants to let her person know what she has to say when they come home to her, but quickly relaxes once she's got it all of her chest. She has an independent nature but bonds best to an individual person and likes to make that person her whole world.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Weight: 60lbs Special considerations: active adopter required Meet Chase! This active boy is super friendly with everyone he meets, person and dog alike! He has limited range of motion in his jaw so he didn’t cut it as a hunting dog, but he still loves to work and run! He is a great hiking buddy and loves learning all kinds of tricks. He is very smart but gets anxious when he doesn’t get enough stimulation, so he’s looking for someone who will provide a lot of enrichment and socialization. Aptly named, he does love to chase so he would do best in a home without cats, but he loves other dogs. Some of his best friends at the shelter are Bailey and Bentley (both available for adoption!), though we haven’t found a dog he doesn’t like. If you’re looking for a tricolor cutie for all your adventures, call us about Chase! Chase is current on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.

These pups are in Seattle, Washington too!

Hi there, just call me Tribi! I am so glad you are looking at my profile. I am ready to venture out and find my own forever family. I will be a little shy when I first meet you and your family, but I will warm up quickly.I love to play with other dogs and kids too. It is so much fun to give hugs and kisses. I can be very funny, and I love to play with balls, and going to the beach is my favorite thing for me. I don’t swim but I can play on the shore for hours. I know how to listen, and I catch on very quickly to what you want me to do. I know most of my basic commands. I know I need to go outside to do my potty.I love to run and be active and athletic so if you are into that too we could be amazing together. If it sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in an application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Tribi To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Hello!I'm Coco. I am a big puppy who loves to play with other dogs of all sizes. I'm super submissive - so even the little dogs get to boss me around. I just want to be friends with everyone. I've not seen a lot of cats - so I'm not sure if we would get along. I'm still learning my manners - like how not to jump on my foster mom when I'm so excited to see her. She is teaching me to walk better on a leash, to sit for my food, and to sit before we go through doors. It's hard because I get so excited to go for walks, to the beach, and to play with my friends -- but I know with practice I'll get it.I don't bark a lot - but I do try to tell my foster mom all about my playmates in doggy day care when we are driving home. I bark when people come to the door but mostly because I like meeting new people to see if they would like to play with me.I'm learning how to ride in the car without getting sick. The main thing is no treats for me before a car ride. A light meal is okay - a few hours before. I have actually improved a lot so maybe I'll get over it.Because I am so sociable, I do great in doggy day care and I do great with other dogs especially if they like to play. So if you think you might like to adopt me, please click on the Apply to Adopt button and let's get things started.Love,Coco To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Casey is a mellow and easy-going older gentleman who just wants to be near his humans. He likes everyone, people and dogs - minding his own business when we walk past other dogs with just the occasional sniff. He hasn't met any cats, however, given that he came in with other critters and his calm nature, he would likely be ok with them. This handsome fellow is very food motivated - he loves the snuffle mat and a peanut butter filled Kong. Casey likes his walks and is fine with just one a day given his age. But he's energetic when we do walk, and he's got a spring in his step! He even learned how to use the doggie door after being shown just a few times. Casey is mobile and can go up and down carpeted stairs, though for those with non-carpeted stairs, some traction would be required. He may have some hearing loss, but it hasn't affected his ability to live his life to the fullest nor his foster parent's ability to care for him. This sweet guy deserves all the best and wants to retire in style!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal.
