Hi there, we're Pippa and Chely, a bonded pair of Bombay DSH mix sisters. Our story started in a tough spot—we were found in a dumpster, left to fend for ourselves as tiny kittens. Luckily, a kind soul heard our plea and rescued us from that dire situation. Now, we're all set and eagerly awaiting a forever home. Let me tell you a bit about us. Pippa is the outgoing, super sweet, affectionate, and downright lovable sister. She's a cuddle enthusiast and can't resist a good snuggle session. On the other paw, Chely is our sweet and lovable introvert. It takes her a little while to warm up, but once she does, her independent and gentle nature shines through. We're both spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for the next chapter of our lives. Good news for multi-pet households—we get along great with both cats and dogs. Playtime is a blast for us, and treats? Oh, we can't resist those! We're looking for someone special—someone patient who's willing to give us a chance. Juno is a rockstar mom to a staggering seven kittens, all of whom were scheduled for euthanasia on the day they were rescued from the Downey shelter. At that time, Juno was just two days post-partum and suffering from malnutrition and alopecia. However, in the last six weeks, with proper care, she has started to put on weight and her beautiful, shiny black coat has filled in. Now she looks just like the Bombay breed we believe her to be. Despite a rough start and obvious neglect, Juno is desperate for human interaction, and always greets her foster family at the door with lots of flops, rolls, and purrs. Because she is still nursing, she has not been tested with other cats or dogs, but she is great with kids. Jiji was posted on the Pasadena Humane Society instagram page as part of a hoarding situation. It took him about a week to warm up to me after his adoption. He is still very skittish after having him for almost 2 years but I assume it is from whatever he went through in his previous living situation. I have learned he LOVES crinkle balls, string, and the laser pointer. He loves cuddling at night and randomly throughout the day. He is a very talkative boy and will greet you with a meow whenever you walk into a room that he is in. As cute as his talkative side is please keep in mind he can be a bit loud when he talks at night. He loves sleeping in his cat tree by the window. He LOVES his Churu cat treats and can never get enough. He gets along with my girl cat just fine and cuddles up with my ESA labrador retriever. He is a bit nervous around new people and will run and hide but warms up pretty quickly. He does not like his carrier too much and gets car sick when taken to the vet.
