Juno is a rockstar mom to a staggering seven kittens, all of whom were scheduled for euthanasia on the day they were rescued from the Downey shelter. At that time, Juno was just two days post-partum and suffering from malnutrition and alopecia. However, in the last six weeks, with proper care, she has started to put on weight and her beautiful, shiny black coat has filled in. Now she looks just like the Bombay breed we believe her to be. Despite a rough start and obvious neglect, Juno is desperate for human interaction, and always greets her foster family at the door with lots of flops, rolls, and purrs. Because she is still nursing, she has not been tested with other cats or dogs, but she is great with kids. Juno would do best in a home  where someone is around for most of the day to give her the attention she craves. Born 7/27/22.September 19, 2023, 8:05 pm

When I was leaving for school of Friday I found a kitten under my moms car. I didn’t know what to do so I took her in my room. I was gunna ask friends/family if they wanted her but they all said no. So I keep her in my bed secretly. Eventually my older sister found out and mad me out her out side but I have adult cats outside so If I put the kitten outside she will die. I also didn’t want to leave her outside because it’s too cold at night and a kitten needs to be warm. I hope she can find a home where she can be happy, warm, cool, and safe! She’s 4 week old thx to google but I’m not exactly sure haha! Honestly she’s kinda playing ful because she’s a kitten!!! I hope she could find a better home than outside my house. Thank you!!

Vader is approximately 14 years old. I adopted him about 1 year ago but doesn't get along with our dog. I think it would be best for him to be in a place he feels more comfortable. He is a self sufficient cat and is pretty easy going. He sleeps a lot in a ground level house and uses a cat tree every now and again. Once he is comfortable with you he likes to talk to you often. He would make a great addition to someone's home.

Twilight is an adorable male bombay / domestic shorthair kitten, 1 year in age. He is a dignified and noble cat. Twilight is shy with humans at first. However he warms up after being shown affection and kindness. He loves to play on his cat tree. Twilight is good with other cats and gets along well with dogs of a peaceful temperament. He is gentle and loving. Twilight will make a wonderful companion to his forever family. If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes. Currently, we are driving animals far out on an as-needed basis! If an animal is posted from us, they are AVAILABLE, however we sometimes do already have an adopter in place to meet them - however, please apply directly ASAP to ensure you get considered to meet them! We approve based on the best home, not first-come-first-serve. If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet, please complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you and your family. Once that is complete and we've approved you, we can set up a time for you to meet your potential companion for life! We are strictly by appointment-only.
