Story
Hi, Leslie is a young mom who is still a kitten at heart herself. Now that her babies are old enough to find a home, she deserves going back to being carefree and playful again, which she certainly is. Her story is that of many, someone got kittens, did not fix them and when they became pregnant they were put on the street. Leslie is one of those kittens and I hope she finds a new home that provides at of play and love (she loves being petted and purrs easily).

Story
Hello, Benny is about 3 month old. He has a gentle playful character. He often comes to help his sisters when his brother plays too rough. He is very curious and similarly to his mother, he is very attentive and is starting to answer (creating a "conversation"). He often makes funny sounds in the litterbox as if he would argue with himself where to dig a hole. I got Benny and his three siblings with the mom from someone who picked them up when the neighbor put them on the street and asked for help. Now they are all looking for a new forever home, solo or together.

Story
Anthony is a male two-year old in a bonded pair with a non-sibling female, named Cleopatra (obviously :-). He is the black and white kitty in the photos and Cleo is the tortoiseshell. They would need to be adopted together as they LUUUUV each other. My son turned out to be allergic to both cats due to previous asthma that returned, which is why we need to find them a new home. They are currently living at Tail Town cat cafe in Altadena, which is where they were originally adopted from. This was a heartbreaking decision to make as they are absolutely adorable and well-behaved kitties. They take such good care of each other—play, cuddle, eat together and share a litter box with no issues. They are very affectionate and will be wonderful in a new family. They are both about two years old and full of love. Please help them on their journey to find their forever home!

Story
I would love to keep her but my girlfriends allergies have become too severe. I can drive to anywhere in the LA/San Bernardino area. Luna is a loving, playful, and intelligent cat. She can be independent if you are traveling or are out of the house for most of the day, but when you are home, she will coddle you with lots of love. She loves to explore and play with new things you bring into the house, but she does not like drastic change. She will often be nervous of new people and does not like car rides, vet visits, or plane travel. You will have to teach her where she is allowed to be and what shes allowed to jump on top of, because if you do not make strict rules she will explore every nook and cranny of your house. She chatters at birds, loves being brushed, rolls on her back and tempts you to rub her belly (trap), hunts you, plays tag, plays hide and seek, chases and kills flies, and will stand on two legs for treats!

Sweetie is an awesome cat. Very chill and friendly demeanor with very small bursts of cat zooming. I don’t have space in my home to keep her and I want to make sure she is well taken care of. It’s difficult for me to give her away but she deserves a bigger home to play with than my apartment.

Story
Meet Candy! Our sweetest three-legged tripod kitty. She's fully acclimated to having three paws - she runs up and down the stairs, can jump on the bed and surfaces, and uses her scratching post very often :) Candy was originally found with a homeless man who refused to give her up despite her gnarly leg infection. Thankfully, one of our TNR (trap-neuter-rescue) volunteers was able to offer him $50 in exchange for Candy. She got the necessary veterinarian care, where she had to get her front paw amputated. She’s now no longer in pain and is thriving with her foster mom. She’s waiting and would love to be a spoiled baby with her new family! Even after everything she’s been through, she’s a bundle of love and one of the most resilient cats we’ve had in our care. She loves to play with balls and strings on her scratching post!

She navigates around the house very well and we believe she can see shadows out of her eye that is still there.  She is shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is a very sweet love bug. Story
My name is Batman. I am a big beautiful ginger cat with a cute little meow! I am a very loving kitty, but I grew up in a very scary, crowded, place that belonged to a horder. As a result, I am a bit shy, but I warm up to you as soon as I know you. I have a brother named Robin who looks a lot like me and who grew up in the same situation as I did. Luckily VFTA rescued us both and gave us a nice, clean place to live. Now I love lying in the sun, getting petted on my bum and eating cat treats! I get along great with other cats, but I'm hoping to find a forever home with someone who appreciates a handsome, lovable ginger like me!  Would you like to meet me and my brother? For more information or to set a meeting please contact adoption@vftafoundation.org or call 310-392-5153

Story
Hey there, I'm Wellington, the handsome and mischievous male cat about to celebrate my 1st birthday on July 21st. If you take a look at the second picture, you'll spot me sitting up, with a distinctive broken heart-shaped marking on my right flank. I'm a happy-go-lucky feline with a dash of feistiness that keeps life exciting. I have a few quirky habits—I enjoy nibbling on feet and chasing my own tail, which always brings a smile to everyone's face. I'm up to date on all my vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and have already mastered the art of using the litterbox. So, I'm all set and ready to join a loving forever home. If you're seeking a playful and spirited companion, look no further! Let's make wonderful memories together, full of fun and endless adventures. Can't wait to meet you!    Please contact my foster parent Peri at 424-603-9072      These dogs/cats are looking for homes through private parties in the Los Angeles CA area. Story
Greetings! I'm Gabriel, a delightful male cat eagerly anticipating my 1st birthday on July 21st. Happiness radiates from within me, and I love spreading joy wherever I go. Sometimes, I'll let out a little cry to get your attention, yearning to be petted and held. I'm the type of cat who will happily settle in someone's lap for a brief snuggle session. I thrive in the company of people, and my siblings have been my closest companions. Together, we create a bond that is simply purr-fect. Oh, and let's not forget about the birds! At my foster home, I keep a watchful eye on them, but thankfully, they're safely confined to a cage. If you're considering adoption, I highly recommend adopting two of us together. Having a feline friend by our side provides comfort and companionship, especially when you're away. You'll never have to worry about us feeling lonely. Rest assured, I'm up to date on all my vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and I've mastered the art of using the litterbox with finesse. So, are you ready to welcome a bundle of happiness and love into your life? Adopting me will be the best decision you ever make! Let's create a lifetime of cherished memories together.    Please contact my foster parent Peri at 424-603-9072      These dogs/cats are looking for homes through private parties in the Los Angeles CA area. Story
DOB: 7/28/22 King Arthur and Sir Lancelot are unbelievably handsome brother cats.  They are destined to bring great happiness and joy to some lucky person, because these boys are amazing!  Not only are they handsome as the day is long, but they're absolutely hilarious (they forget sometimes that they're royalty).  They're total goofballs and they engage in all sorts of antics together.  They're very bonded and love to play and race around and go exploring.  But they're also very well behaved -- extremely responsive and intelligent and loving.  They're gentle and smart and they just LOVE attention.     King Arthur is what you would call a LOUD MOUTH (perhaps because he's so wise he has to pontificate now and then).  He's so funny when he talks, you just can't help laughing.  And we all know how healthy laughter is!  Lance is a little shyer than Arthur, but he's also incredibly affectionate.  He follows his brother around and both of them come running when you call them.  They exude so much joy and enthusiasm just to be near their human.   These two black beauties spent four months at a high-kill shelter.  It's completely shocking, but nobody wanted them.  Then, on Giving Tuesday, Kitten Rescue got all the cats out of that shelter -- all except these two.  They ran out of fosters and with great sadness had to leave them behind, until at the last minute, someone stepped up to foster them, and these two remarkable cats were saved.  Phew!     Now these two amazing brother cats will live out their lives in safety and security, adored by their new humans and in turn adoring them back.  Will you be the lucky ones?!   If you are interested in learning more about these kitties or in adopting them, please click here to email their foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. If the above links aren't live, our contact form and questionnaire are available on our website at www.kittenrescue.org.For our fees and adoption policies and procedures, please click here.April 10, 2024, 5:50 pm
