Story
Trinity is a lovable adult cat. She was found outside by the train tracks 9 years ago. She is an attention hog and will purr in your arms until she falls asleep. She is around 3 cats and 2 dogs. She eats whole hearted wet food and purina dry food but she is not picky by any means. Trinity is not getting along with one of my cats so we are trying to rehome one of them. She has lived with us since October but can not seem to get adjusted with one of my 3 cats.

Story
Nico is a very loving boy who takes a little time to warm up to people but will create a strong bond in short order. He isn’t a fan of being held or handled too much, but will curl up for snuggles on the sofa or in bed. He likes to be scratched, especially at the base of his tail. Nico isn’t a high energy, playful cat but he will be happy to chase a feather toy or attack a ping pong ball. He loves to play and wrestle with his brother Percy who he’s been with since weeks old. They’re a bonded pair.

Story
Please meet our heart breaker BABALOO, nicknamed BALOO, a magnificent Bombay with a big heart and a feline inspiration of love and affection❤️ When BABALOO appeared and joined a feral colony, it was right away apparent that this lover boy kitty was abandoned and truly did not belong there. So the rescuer jumped into action and swept this little man off the street and into a warm place to snuggle in. Surely, it didn't take BABALOO long to show his affectionate side and his gentle and loving personality that exploded when realizing he is finally safe. His statement was clear and didn't leave any doubt that his rescuer made the right decision on intake by rubbing with his cheek against their hands, circling around her in full delight and rolling over to show his cute belly belly to command some serious belly rubs.. He LOVES chin rubbing under constant love-seeking purrs and maximizes his cuteness with his ultimate signature move to roll over and demanding his favorite spot - the belly - to be massaged!❤️ PLEASE get a little taste of affection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyRGHD1KuV0 When melting in your arms, his expressive golden eyes are closing out of satisfaction being held and he is enjoying the ride under the deepest purrs - a belly rub coma to purrfection - we can't imagine why someone would abandon such feline jewel! As every young teenager, BABALOO has of course also a very playful side, batting mice or playing with his wand toy. To his fullest delight, he loves to play hide and seek with his foster Mom, reaching for higher spots to hide and then peaking around the corner to make sure that she is really looking for him. So super cute❤️ Here some athletic play features: https://youtube.com/shorts/ZXRx-aaywhM BABALOO loves to be part of everything and will follow you around with his tail up making sure he does not miss a beat in your life - nothing is holding back this sweet Snuggle King to get attention and his will to be part of "his human's" life is unbreakable. Thus, we are looking for a home that can give this personal assistant lots of human interaction and of course tons of love❤️ BABALOO is a 2 year old young healthy lover boy, neutered, dewormed / deflead, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FELV and otherwise fully vetted including microchip Please meet this stunningly beautiful Bombay bachelor with a heart of gold and a feline charm that will sweep you off your feet❤️ And check out our website for more adorable kitties looking for a forever home: https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/84295-east-harlem-kitty-rescue-new-york-new-york#featured

Story
Bertram (born 11/20/2022) (some call him Bertie) is a wonderful, loving, friendly, 8 ½ pound, Bombay cat. On intake, a heart murmur was heard and an echocardiogram was performed before his neuter surgery. The report was good and no medication is needed. Bertram was neutered and all went well. Bertram spends his days, playing with his toys, looking out of the window and enjoys sitting on your lap and being petted. He does not like being around other cats and would prefer to be your one and only. If you are looking for a very friendly fellow to be your best friend, then Bertram is your kitty! We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. Story
Annabelle and Tickety-boo are gorgeous black cats, mother and son. These beautiful cats are stunning. Annabelle is a short-haired black beauty, while TB is medium-haired and quite fluffy with a gorgeous, big tail. These two are very sweet and gentle, and so happy to be safe and off the street. Hard to believe such beauties were homeless! They still are a bit scared and will run at sudden movements or noises, but they are getting so much better with their confidence and being less fearful! They are affectionate and love to rub against your legs, seeking pets and attention - and, thanks to their foster mom, they are slowly learning to enjoy different types of touch. She even shows them videos of cats cuddling with humans as “pro-cuddle propaganda”! This adorable pair also love to play, but they're both somewhat uncoordinated, which makes them fun to watch as they get better at navigating indoors. TB adores catching and running after toy mice and balls, while Annabelle loves rope toys and playing tug of war. Tickety-boo also has the cutest little squeaky meow you’ve ever heard. These two gentle cats absolutely LOVE each other and must be adopted as a bonded pair. TB is a sweet little mama's boy, constantly following Annabelle around and looking to her for comfort and reassurance. She is patient and loving with him and is truly the sun to his moon. All they need is a patient adopter with a calm household where they can settle in and blossom.  Though they are unsure about being picked up, both Annabelle and TB are super gentle and sweet and their foster mom says they’ve never so much as scratched her. Because they're not "Velcro" cats, they would make great companions for someone who wants a loving bonded pair who will mostly do their own thing. Annabelle is about 2 years old and Tickety-boo is about 1 year old. These beautiful cats are healthy, felv/fiv negative, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and ready for a wonderful furrever home together. If you would like to schedule a meet & greet, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Annabelle and Tickety-boo, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form!     Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street. July 30, 2026, 5:58 am
