ROSCOE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is Roscoe.  You have a chance to adopt your very own panther.  He was rescued as a newborn at only a couple of days old.  He is very affectionate and playful. The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  He loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. He would do well as a family kitty and loves all other kitties, cat-friendly dogs, and kids. He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring him up north once he is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 7, 2025, 1:35 pm

Story
Please meet our gorgeous cutie pie JASPER - A feline young treasure boy and already an personal assistant, full of surprises in giving love and affection that will make you feel very special to be his parent. This beautiful Bombay boy was rescued from horrible situation during the cold winter nights and despite his timid posture, his gentle and affectionate disposition shined through from the first second he entered his foster home - making it obvious that he was once an indoor cat brutally abandoned fighting for himself over food and survival. Since in his foster home, JASPER is showered with love and attention by his amazing Foster Mom and his development into an affectionate, happy fur ball is just stunning. He is eager to join her and her residential kitty when watching TV and wants to be part of her daily tasks as well. We were in tears when we realized that this lil fellow never had a a cosy bed to sleep in or knew what toys are - choosing at first a box without blankets to settle in and disregarded any fluffy toy. NOW, he can't get enough from his own luxurious soft bed, relaxing there under deepest purr until falling to sleep and started also to bounce some toys around - always looking at his foster Mom for confirmation that life is good and it's ok being a teenager with some foolish attitude. JASPER can't wait now to get attention, tender love and chin rubs, thanking with constant love-seeking purrs - pure out of satisfaction. When ever teh opportunity is given, he hops on hi Mom's lap or legs and listen to her while enjoting cheek rubbing and most of all back scratches and brushing, his beautiful golden eyes sparkling to the maximum when receiving attention and his now shiny coat a constant reminder what beautiful Bombay boy he is. JASPER loves to be part of everything and closed doors make him even more curious what's behind it - a true BOMBAY feature - so be prepared that this furry companion would like to emperor his furever kingdom with no restrictions allowed!. As every young teenager, we think he would love to have a furry buddy that welcomes him in a gentle way and wants to have some feline fun and pleasures to share with - especially if his furture parents work long hours. JASPER is still a bit cautious when meeting new people but learns quickly to trust - thus - as always - we ask for a little patience at the meet and greet so his true soft character and gentle demeanor can shine through and you will recognize how much love he can give! JASPER is a 1.5 years young healthy boy, neutered, dewormed / deflead, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FELV and otherwise fully vetted including microchip.. Come and meet this stunningly beautiful Bombay Fellow - more beautiful and affectionate in life than pictures will ever tell! Story
Please meet our 4 ADVENTURERS!: MARCO, MARCELLO, PAOLA and NICCOLA! This 91 year old feline gang was rescued from the backyard of a commercial building, adventuring around and trying to survive without their mother. Their intake was just precious and since then these 4 kids taking over their rescue space, exploring their new but safe environment and taking it day by day - like every day is a new adventure. They are beautiful and true feline treasures with hidden affectionate souls to start with, showing more and more their happiness and trust in their new life inside. It seems that some have already chosen their partner in crime - MARCO (Black Bombay, 1rst picture) wrestling with MARCELLO - 2nd picture - forming the ultimate brotherhood, leaping around and chasing after each other in a playful manner. It's amazing how MARCO developed from a shy boy to the "leader of teh gang" - always ready for some mishevious moves.. MARCELLO is also a bundle of energy, always vocally announcing that he is ready' whatever fun time is coming up. He rubs against his foster parent seeking for attention and of course when the treat bags shaking - super cute!. NICCOLA - 4rth picture - is the more laied back part of this gang - often found playing and especially snuggling with her sister Paola but also seeking feline luv with the residential older cats. Please see more pictures and video's of the girls at: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/37855168-new-york-new-york-cat So we are still watching closely whom they prefer to spend their feline siblinghood for life but we are also open to adopt at least Niccola to a loving home with a residential cat friendly feline soul in place. They are already altered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, tested FELV/FIV negative and are rmicrochipped. COME and FALL in LOVE with these beautiful adventurers! and check out our website for more adorable kitties looking for a forever home: https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/84295-east-harlem-kitty-rescue-new-york-new-york#featured

Story
Rather exotic-looking, don’t ya think? Say hi to Soursop, a 1-year old, 7-pound Bombay cat with a shiny black coat and eyes as green as emeralds. Soursop is lovely around humans, dogs, and cats. Initially shy, Soursop has come a long way since her arrival. Friendly toward people, once comfortable, Soursop enjoys being pet and played with. She gets along great with other cats and loves to run around and interact with them. Soursop has no issue with dogs, more so in a live-and-let-live sort of way. Hey, she’s a no-drama type of gal! Soursop is a big fan of toys and seems to like anything with feathers, strings, and jingly balls. She has a hearty appetite and never refuses an offer of a treat. Fully litter-box trained, Soursop uses her pan with precision and never makes a mess. Although not quite a kitten anymore, Soursop has a lot of energy for a cat her age. She gets the zoomies several times throughout the day and it’s hilarious to watch her in action. She plays hard, and then passes out and sleeps like a rock. If you are in the market for a sweet, charming, high energy, magnificent-looking cat, Soursop has it all!
