Story
Please meet our 4 ADVENTURERS!: MARCO, MARCELLO, PAOLA and NICCOLA! This 91 year old feline gang was rescued from the backyard of a commercial building, adventuring around and trying to survive without their mother. Their intake was just precious and since then these 4 kids taking over their rescue space, exploring their new but safe environment and taking it day by day - like every day is a new adventure. They are beautiful and true feline treasures with hidden affectionate souls to start with, showing more and more their happiness and trust in their new life inside. It seems that some have already chosen their partner in crime - MARCO (Black Bombay, 1rst picture) wrestling with MARCELLO - 2nd picture - forming the ultimate brotherhood, leaping around and chasing after each other in a playful manner. It's amazing how MARCO developed from a shy boy to the "leader of teh gang" - always ready for some mishevious moves.. MARCELLO is also a bundle of energy, always vocally announcing that he is ready' whatever fun time is coming up. He rubs against his foster parent seeking for attention and of course when the treat bags shaking - super cute!. NICCOLA - 4rth picture - is the more laied back part of this gang - often found playing and especially snuggling with her sister Paola but also seeking feline luv with the residential older cats. Please see more pictures and video's of the girls at: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/37855168-new-york-new-york-cat So we are still watching closely whom they prefer to spend their feline siblinghood for life but we are also open to adopt at least Niccola to a loving home with a residential cat friendly feline soul in place. They are already altered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, tested FELV/FIV negative and are rmicrochipped. COME and FALL in LOVE with these beautiful adventurers! and check out our website for more adorable kitties looking for a forever home: https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/84295-east-harlem-kitty-rescue-new-york-new-york#featured

Story
Meet Fendi: A Quiet Shadow Looking for a Safe Place to Land Fendi is a strikingly handsome 8-month-old Bombay with a glossy black coat and soulful eyes that quietly take in the world around him. He’s a sensitive, shy boy who is still learning that life can be gentle and kind. By day, Fendi prefers the comfort of his favorite hiding spots, where he feels safe and undisturbed. When the house grows quiet at night, his curious side begins to peek through — exploring softly, moving carefully, and observing the world on his own terms. Sudden movements or loud noises can be overwhelming for him, and when that happens, he retreats back to where he feels most secure. Fendi isn’t ready for hands-on affection just yet, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t deserving of love. Beneath his timid exterior is a tender heart that simply needs time, patience, and a calm environment to learn trust. He enjoys treats and may coexist with other calm cats, but people interactions need to move slowly and respectfully. Fendi would do best in a quiet, low-traffic home with an experienced, understanding adopter who is willing to let him set the pace — someone who believes that love doesn’t always look like cuddles right away, but instead grows quietly, moment by moment. If you have a peaceful home and a big heart for a cat who needs space to bloom, Fendi may one day reward you with the quietest, most meaningful kind of companionship. ROSCOE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is Roscoe.  You have a chance to adopt your very own panther.  He was rescued as a newborn at only a couple of days old.  He is very affectionate and playful. The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  He loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. He would do well as a family kitty and loves all other kitties, cat-friendly dogs, and kids. He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring him up north once he is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. Story
Handsome Dexter is a gorgeous all-black cat who was rescued in South Brooklyn. We can tell he someone's pet at some time, but either being outside for a long time or suffering abuse in his past has made him shy. He must start in a confined space where he can't hide and with a human who is willing to spend time petting him and building his confidence. You can see by the video, he is a sweet guy who loves petting and is just waiting for that moment to trust completely. He truly relishes the touch and loves having his butt skritched, too! Here is sweet Dexter: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Xz-0OopPVSE Dexter is about 4 years old and healthy. He is neutered, tested fiv/felv negative, up to date on vaccines and ready for a wonderful, kind furrever home. If you would like to schedule a meet & greet, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Dexter, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street.
