Story
Horton is a large pitch black Bombay male who was a stray wandering around with a bone in his digestion tract but is all better now! He is a sweet boy & enjoys jumping up to sit beside you or come on your lap or playing with his favorite feather teaser. His tongue is usually out - he only has 2 teeth in the front and 4 teeth in the back! He would do best in a quiet home with other mature folks such as himself. He's a unique bundle of love!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at  540-987-6050  or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. January 15, 2026, 10:37 am

Story
Don't let his name fool you, this boy is far from stinky! He's actually quite the lovebug and loves to be held! Skunk was someone's kitty that got lost, the poor guy. A kind person found him. He has a microchip and we have done our best to find his owner. Alas, we have been unable to. He is eligible and anxious to be rehomed. This beautiful little sweetie is in the market for a new best friend and he will do anything to prove to you just how sweet he is. Story
Meet Paprika! Paprika is a Bombay mix little girl and a huge cuddle bug! She has thick, plush, soft fur with white ear tufts, a little round face, and big, adorable, inquisitive eyes. She was found by a Good Samaritan behind a store and is just about 11 weeks old (as of January 10th). Paprika has a mellow personality and, as mentioned before, is an absolute snuggle bug. She’s purr-fectly happy sitting on your lap and getting lots of love. She would do best in a quieter home.  Paprika is ready to go home with an approved application. She is/will have been dewormed, receive an FVRCP vaccine and a booster, a rabies vaccine, combo tested negative, spayed, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. No need to pay over $20 every year, we've taken care of it! Please click here to fill out a quick digital application:  https://www.jotform.com/form/221029453063044January 10, 2026, 12:34 am
