Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bear is a 6-year-old male Bombay who is a loving, people-oriented cat and enjoys being close to his humans. He’s friendly with strangers, loves to cuddle (especially laying on your chest), and even likes to “participate” in yoga by keeping you company on the mat. He is very vocal and will call to you if he feels lonely. Bear is very food-motivated—especially when it comes to baked goods—so a watchful eye is needed around snacks. Bear was previously owned, but after his owner passed away, he spent time living on the streets. Despite this, he remains gentle, affectionate, and trusting. Bear has a few manageable medical needs. He is diabetic and requires daily medication and needs to be on a starch free diet. He also has arthritis in his back left leg and benefits from daily fish oil to help manage joint discomfort and dandruff. Bear has successfully lived with other cats and shows no aggression toward new feline companions. Bear would thrive in a calm, attentive home with someone willing to support his medical care. In return, he offers companionship, affection, and a big heart! Story
Don’t let the name fool you while she shares a title with a famous Pokémon, this Umbreon is 100% real life magic. At a whopping 3 pounds, she is a pint sized House Panther who is currently specialized in the art of looking distinguished in a bow ! Watch her take on the living room jungle! YouTube Link Umbreon is a Level 1 Kitten with a very high curiosity stat. She’s not the type to crash into a room like a wrecking ball (she’s a lady, after all). Instead, she prefers to use her Stealth Mode to peek out from behind chair legs or under blankets to make sure the coast is clear. Once she decides you're a friend, her Special Ability kicks in: The Permanent Shadow. She will follow you around the house to supervise your daily activities, ensuring that all chores are done to her high panther standards. Umbreon also has a playful side! She enjoys chasing toys, exploring new spaces, and even fetching mid air toys with her littermates. But no matter how much fun she’s having, his favorite moments are quiet cuddles and lap time with his humans. Umbreon has completed her Pokémon “training” and is looking for her forever "Gym." She’s vetted, tiny, and ready to go! Ready to add this tiny Dark type to your team? https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/699607363aa7dbc5ab0d712c Questions? We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. The Greater Houston area faces one of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the U.S. We’re a nonprofit on a mission—to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs at risk, while promoting spay/neuter outreach in the community. When you adopt, you save more than one life— the one you adopted, and the space opened up to save another. Follow our journey and stay connected! 🌐 threelittlepittiesrescue.org 📘 facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue 📸 instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport.
