Looking for a confident, charming companion to brighten your days? Meet Star, a handsome 4-year-old cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart.Adoption Application:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatStar came to Roses Rescue after his owner fell on hard times and made the difficult, selfless decision to prioritize Star's well-being. While that change was hard, Star has adjusted beautifully and is ready to find a new family to call his own. This friendly guy loves to explore his surroundings and is always curious about what's happening around him. Whether he's chasing a laser pointer, batting at an automatic toy, or perched high above the room keeping an eye on things, Star likes to stay involved. In fact, he considers himself the household manager and takes his supervisory duties very seriously!Star loves enjoying his outdoor time. He walks wonderfully on a leash (check out his video!) and enjoys safely exploring the world alongside his people.Star has previously lived with both dogs and cats and is comfortable sharing his home with other respectful pets. He enjoys companionship but also appreciates having a high perch to oversee the daily operations of the household. If you're looking for a confident, affectionate cat who will keep you company on adventures and then supervise your activities from the highest spot in the house, Star is the perfect addition for your family.Apply to meet Star today and let this shining star light up your home! TUGS ON YOUR HEARTSTRINGS DOB 6/15/22 Meet Taco! This beautiful black kitty was found with a rumbling tummy outside a taco truck — so naturally, her name is Taco! Now safe and cozy in her foster home, Taco is living her best life and enjoying all the good things: soft blankets, chin scratches, and sunny windowsills. Taco is a gentle soul with a sweet personality. She gets along with both cats and dogs, but like any lady with standards, she may need a little time to settle into a new place. Once she does, she’ll reward you with purrs, head boops, and quiet companionship. If you're looking for a classy little foodie with a big heart, Taco might be the perfect match! HOPE ID 24-0309-G058 Taco is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
Meet Tofu, a chunky little cuddle bug who deserves the BEST life indoors with lots of love!IMPORTANT INFO:- Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat- ROSES Rescues is located in Houston, TX. We transport our kitties to adopters in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest! **Cost is included in Adoption Fee.**- Tofu's adoption fee is $315.- With proper introductions Tofu may do well with another cat (better with males than females) or a calm and respectful pup. She would be fantastic as an only cat or if adopted with one of her kittens.---Tofu was found on the streets of Houston with her two kittens (Bean and Edamame, also adoptable). They were all initially supposed to be trapped, fixed, and returned to their outdoor colony, but Tofu and her babies were way too friendly to be put back out on the street! Despite having been outdoors for the first year or two of her life, Tofu was the first to really enjoy the luxuries of an indoor life. She immediately started purring every time she saw Her Humans walk by, and it was obvious that she wanted nothing but love and a lap to snuggle on!Per her finder/foster: We suspect she didn't have the easiest life prior to being rescued, and she likely had many, many litters of kittens before Bean and Edamame. We're just glad to help be part of Tofu's journey to a forever home in a much better place!!Tofu is a pretty big cat at almost 13 lbs, but that just means there is more of her to love. She is extremely affectionate with humans and is always seeking out attention (and food of course). We haven't tried it yet, but given how food-motivated she is, you might even be able to train her to do a few tricks!---Tofu is ~1.5-3 years old (it's very hard to pin down an exact age!), in great health, spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home!Adopt Tofu (and maybe one of her adorable kittens!), and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun.---The adoption application can be found here:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatTofu and her kittens are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes (cost is included in adoption fee).———ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Had precious for 11 years as a gift from my mom. She’s very loving and cuddly but skittish from loud noises, new people, and overstimulation. She’s very big on food and treats. I’m just looking for someone to love her as much as I have if not more as the stress of taking care of her these past couple years has been difficult for me. She’s very territorial and most likely won’t get along with another cat

Story
Sultan is a beautiful cat.. He loves people, but doesn’t care to live with other animals. He loves to be brushed and cuddled. He enjoys an occasional play with a laser or feathers and mice on a string type toys. Luckily, he can only catch fake ones, so you won’t find any “gifts” from him on your door step. But more than anything this cat loves to eat! He will do tricks: sit, shake and high five for treats. He could be an indoors cat only, but enjoys a yard to poke around and protect from the neighborhood animals. He will also do his business outdoors in a chosen spot if there is grass/dirt. His special need is a 1/2 of an over the counter antacid tablet as he gets an upset tummy without it. He takes it in a pill pocket treat with no problems. My son was his person and went away to college and is not planning to return home. I would love a stable home for him. Maybe someone who works from home or is retired and looking for a big fluffy baby to dote on.

Story
Hi my name is Pongo! I am an energetic confident cat looking for my next adventure. I love to play, go outside, and stretch out on my window perch. I love anyone who will give me attention and treats. I am not snuggly yet but love being around my people and welcome pets anytime. I am super smart and I know how to sit, shake, pretty, and spin! I recently had issues with bladder stones so it is recommended that I have a prescription urinary diet. Hi this is Kaylie (cat mom),sadly I have to rehome this bundle of fluff due to my husband no longer working and the ongoing costs of pet care. As well, we think he will do much better in a home that allows him to explore outside instead of stuck inside a small space. He will come with some cat food, his toys, bed, cat post, window perch, new litter box, and medical records. He actually is really close to being toilet trained! We love him dearly and are so so sad to see him go, but know that in the long run it is the best thing to do by him.
