I’m Pluto, a sweet, friendly, and loving Bombay mix gal with copper-penny eyes and a sleek, shiny black-patent leather coat. True to a Bombay’s nature, I’m a certified Velcro kitty who loves to stick right next to my Foster Meowmy or follow her wherever she goes. When she walks into the foster room, I’m the first of my seven foster mates to greet her. To show my delight in seeing her, I immediately drop my whole body on its side or rub my pheromones on her hands and ankles. I can be a cuddle bug as long as she’s massaging my head or scratching my cheeks, chin, and ears nonstop. You can imagine the mayhem that eight kittens can wreak inside our foster room! Although I will tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings, I really prefer to spend my time lounging. True confessions: although I secretly love attention and will tolerate some cuddle time, I absolutely abhor being held and will immediately squirm around until I can get down. He’s friendly with strangers, loves to cuddle (especially laying on your chest), and even likes to “participate” in yoga by keeping you company on the mat. He is very vocal and will call to you if he feels lonely. Bear is very food-motivated—especially when it comes to baked goods—so a watchful eye is needed around snacks. Bear was previously owned, but after his owner passed away, he spent time living on the streets. Despite this, he remains gentle, affectionate, and trusting. Bear has a few manageable medical needs. He is diabetic and requires daily medication and needs to be on a starch free diet. He also has arthritis in his back left leg and benefits from daily fish oil to help manage joint discomfort and dandruff. Shadow is super playful and once he warms up, very cuddly and affectionate. We are rehoming due to the birth of our first child, as well as other life changes and unfortunately we cannot give him the attention he deserves. He has no fangs and missing several back teeth due to genetic disease, however he is still able to take all kinds of food just fine! (In fact, he LOVES food) He is a bit clumsy in the cutest way possible. We say he doesn't know how to cat sometimes. He loves his toys, and his favorite are rattle mice, ping pong balls, and laser pointers. He is currently exclusively indoor.

After being an outdoor cat, Frey has adapted very well to becoming a chunky, playful, and vocal friend. He would do best in a home where he can come to you and gets some space to just be. His preference is to hide for a few days in a new environment and come out to seek attention when he feels ready. This means, unfortunately, he will not be interested in meeting in “person” first but we are happy to answer any questions about his habits and favorite things/activities. This good boy does not act his advanced age and truly loves to be social after feeing secure. His special needs includes his eyesight being VERY poor, borderline blind, and a heart condition he has developed.
