She’s a great girl who came into rescue with six puppies who are all now weaned, so setting the stage for her to find a wonderful home! She’s good with other dogs, kids, and her foster’s cat! Sammy is looking for the perfect family. Sammy will be two years old in December. He is a sweet, loving, housebroken Border Collie with a wonderful temperament and lots of energy. He loves to run, play and stay busy, and would thrive with an active family who has time to keep him engaged. I believe Sammy would do wonderfully with a family, especially one with children who would enjoy playing with him. He needs a yard to run in, attention, exercise and little "jobs" to keep his smart Border Collie brain busy. I am moving to New Orleans into a smaller home without a yard and know I will not be able to give Sammy the time, activity and outdoor space he deserves. This is a very difficult decision because Sammy is incredibly loving and bonds deeply with his people, but I want what is best for him. I am looking for the right family, not just any home.
