Good with dogs,
Story
Rana was found as a tiny little stray puppy who is growing daily, playing with the bigger dogs in the Foster home, thinking she's a large as they are. She's working on her house training and doing well with our, according to her Foster parents and going ninety to nothing until she just drops, as most puppies do.She's apparently a herding dog blend, so whomever applies for her must have experience/knowledge of the herding instinct and know that it cannot be trained out of a dog and that they are going to herd whatever/whomever they can and must have a securely fenced yard where they can do just that, plus so their potty and play.Another dog who's playful is a must also, but not a dog under 25 lbs, as she's going to be around that size, probably. She'll not be available to leave until she's spayed and finished her vetting on April 2, but applications are being accepted now online atMadisonARF.orgHer adoption fee will be $350(Response to an application will come from a personal email account so watch for that)

His mom is a Border Collie mix and he looks like daddy may have had some Bluetick Hound in him :) Come meet our adoptable pets at 2 locations open Wednesday thru Sunday (Wed 11-6, Thurs-Sat 11-4, and Sun 1-4) Cove Lifesaving Center (5588 Highway 431 S, Brownsboro 35741) Madison Lifesaving Center (1292 Slaughter Road, Madison 35758) or by appointment any day of the week!

Story
Meet Trooper! He is truly a Trooper! This poor baby was hit by a car at 6 months old and after multiple opinions from multiple vets we knew we had to have his leg amputated. It hasn't phased him but it was a rough recovery for this active little guy. He knew the vet's office and staff as well as his foster mom and home for the first couple months! He is 100% healed, neutered, up to date on all shots, chipped, and ready for his FURever home. He is a border/aussie mix and therefore high energy. He runs like the wind and tries to herd all his foster brothers and sisters (some tolerate that better than others). He loves everyone and everything but has not been around cats. I think he would be fine with them once he learns but would need to be tested. Trooper is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and anyone interested would need to bring their other fur-babies (if possible) to meet him to ensure everyone gets along and it is a good fit for all. If you are interested in Trooper please fill out a non-binding application at forrescue.net/dog-application

Story
This is Mora, a beautiful 3 year old blue Heeler. Spayed, vaccinated and dewormed. She needs someone who can be responsible and serious and someone who can give her a lot of love and care, since she is very loving, active and protective. She loves to play with the ball and swim, it is her passion. She is very healthy. She has always lived inside the house. She only goes outside to play and potty. She does not destroy or break anything inside the house. She is very polite. She is good with small dogs and children. Interested people will be asked to have a large yard where she can play, and to be in contact with us until she gets fully used to the new family, photos or videos so we know she is okay. We are willing to have her back if doesn't work.
