Story
Nazar is a goofy little wiggle butt that has been in my care since 2022. In that time we have learned some manners and tons of tricks, which he is eager to do for some treats. I have two cats that hes bffs with, and he has some dog friends we visit occasionally. He needs time to warm up to new dogs, but I have not had an issue with aggression in two years. I had a custom muzzle made for him, which I use in public spaces as a precaution and when he meets new dogs. He also has an ecollar, kennel, and tons of puzzle feeders. I recommend introducing him to new dogs slowly but I am confident he will be their best friend. He knows tons of tricks, is e-collar trained, kennel trained, and hella potty trained. The reason I am giving him up is because despite my best efforts, I am often overwhelmed and disconnected, and I feel like he needs someone who will truly love him. I also work a lot. I simply wanted to help him be better. He is five years old and incredibly loyal, loving, and silly.

  Gunther is a sweet, sensitive, devoted, 12ish year old boy that's young at heart and weighs about 40 lbs.  He can be a bit bossy and possessive when it comes to interacting with other dogs, but he's been really good with the Chihuahua that he's been fostered with, and he loves to run and play with a female friend of his that's about his size.  He also does very well being the only dog, and would love to have a human or two that he doesn't have to share with anyone else and a big yard to run around in.  He had a benign anal tumor removed about a year ago, but recovered quickly and completely.  He's been chipped, neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. Gunther's adoption fee is $275, with a $21 PACC license transfer fee. he is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina and Sahuarita only. Odin is a cute slightly senior fellow who has spent quite a bit of time in and out of adoptive and foster homes. Here’s what we’ve learned:- He is house trained and crate trained- He is great with kids and is gentle and patient with them - He is well- behaved when left home alone- He loves toys and being with his people- He is loving, calm, snuggly and happy“Odin LOVES to snuggle. He is a couch potato and loves to sleep. At night he will sleep snuggled up next to his owners. He absolutely loves attention and any pets he can get. He is so sweet and loves to be around people. He will play fetch with his toys and does not react if you take them from him. He gets so excited at dinner time and jumps around as you bring his food over. He sits and tries to shake when putting his leash on him. Odin would do amazing in a home with a yard with a family who would give him attention. He does fine alone for long periods of time.”Odin has been independent and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit and is looking for a home without small dogs. Ask to meet Odin today!!

Midnight is a little lady who is trying to find a safe place in this big old world. She initially came to the shelter along with her eight puppies from a home with too many pets and poor living conditions. She spent about a month in a foster home with her kiddos- here’s what we learned:- She was house trained and did well when crated - She was a quiet houseguest- She needs time to warm up to new people - She loves stuffed toys and enjoys taking them apart - She loves walks and runs- When she feels safe, she wants to be in your lap and to get cuddlesMidnight’s puppies have all left for their own homes, and Midnight would love to find a place in a quiet home with a patient family who will help her feel safe and secure. Midnight has shared her kennel politely and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
