Story
Daisy is such a sweet and loyal girl! I recently had to move into an apartment from an house with an huge backyard and Daisy is not adjusting well to apartment life. I am older, and she is very energetic and loves to run and I am struggling to do that and keep up with her. She will be 1 years old in May, so she is still on the puppy side but is very smart. She usually is good with going with being house trained with a few accidents here and there. We would love to find a home that has a backyard for her to run in. She is good with animals that she knows-introducing she gets really scared. So another dog who is calm would be good. Daisy is great with cats! Loves to play with them. Overall, she is super sweet and funny! She is very loyal and loves to stay by your side and super funny.

Story
Meet Peyton, a sweet male Border Collie who adores affection from familiar humans. Despite his lack of confidence, Peyton will crawl over to spend time with a loving human, eagerly accepting treats from their hands and offering kisses in return. His shy little wag and curious nature shine through, and bravely, he makes great eye contact. Peyton prefers to observe the world from the back of his kennel, but will eagerly come forward for treats or to say hello. He enjoys laying down and rolling to the side for scratches, displaying his trust in those he feels comfortable with. Peyton is still learning to trust that humans are kind and gentle, but he undoubtedly deserves a loving home and a cozy couch life. He will need a patient adopter who will allow him to gain trust at his own pace. Peyton is empowered by the presence of other confident dogs, and does best with female dogs. He is still learning to walk on leash, and does best when walking with another dog. Because of this, he will need to go to a home with a fenced yard until he is more proficient at leash walking. Having a confident canine companion will allow Peyton to gain more confidence and explore all the world has to offer, though it is not required. Peyton eagerly awaits his chance for adoption at the National Mill Dog Rescue.- - - - -Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. Story
Meet our friendly and adventurous puppy named Salt N Pepa because of her adorable socks. She is probably part border collie part heeler, she is 25lbs and around 3 months of age. We expect her to grow up to be between 50-75lbs.  She is fairly independant but can be affectionate when given some individual human attention. She's well-mannered and doesn't jump or scratch at you. She likes to explore and play with her littermates when she hangs out in the foster's backyard. She sleeps through the night. When we were first contacted about this litter of puppies in Oklahoma, they were extremely undersocialised. Our rescue advocates in Oklahoma had worked with the puppies extensively and within a couple of weeks they were ready to travel to Colorado. They are now in their foster home in Denver and are ready to be adopted. Here is a video of everyone in their foster in Denver:https://youtu.be/iXDQF6JZ610 Here are several videos of the litter and their socialization progression: https://youtu.be/lcqQ1GHmGf8?si=LnC25h87QZRmv_ji https://youtu.be/pT2XRZxJN6k?si=vPQPzK2v6SzgfTyv https://youtube.com/shorts/g9vbdUXVqOY?si=Oet3Wz71thAkTEtR https://youtu.be/hl39f2oUvh0?si=cdqQQMjTevUICIdc Salt N Pepa is vaccinated and microchipped, ready for her new Colorado home and lifestyle. Her spay procedure is included in the adoption fee, which is $500. Salt N Pepa knows just how miraculous a turn her life has taken when she was picked out by Havok’s Wolfpack and she is determined to live her new life to the fullest in the most playful and adventurous way, hopefully, with you. Story
Rosemary is a playful, sweet, affectionate girl who is excited to find her forever home! This 3-year-old, 40-pound border collie mix is the perfect size to join you for adventures, snuggles, and a snack or seven. Rosie loves playtime and long walks as much as she loves cuddles on the couch and naps under your desk. Whatever her people are doing, Rosemary just wants to be part of it! Rosie is house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps through the night. She is a smart and food-motivated girl who has mastered many key commands and walks well on leash (as long as she gets some breaks to smell the neighborhood happenings!). She loves other dogs and would do well either alone or with doggie siblings who are on the submissive side, as Rosemary can be a little bossy.  It seems that not everyone in Rosie's life has always been kind to her, so she can be a little anxious about new people. She prefers that everyone minds their manners and says hello before entering her home. But with a few minutes of patience and some treats, Rosemary is happy to receive pets, and soon enough she will stick to you like glue and offer lots of kisses! Winning her trust is so rewarding because Rosemary is the most affectionate and loyal girl to her people.  Rosie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, heartworm-negative, and already waiting at the door for you to come take her on her next adventure! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1815459##
