Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Single 4-month-old female owner surrender transferred from Española Humane Society in New Mexico. She was up to date on vaccines and already spayed prior to transport. From the foster: Meet Serena! What she lacks in tail she makes up for in ear. Fret not, she has two ears, but one is extra special and always on alert! We don’t think she’s spent much time outside of a shelter, so a lot of things are very new to her. But, she immediately loved playing with the home dog and cuddling on the couch. She is shy and SO FULL OF LOVE. What Serena loves the most is snuggles. She’s very quiet and has the cutest squeaks when she yawns. This big girl is super chill, but when she gets excited she hops like a gazelle. If you want to be entertained by this hopping squeaky love bug, Serena’s your sweet girl. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Skiatook Paws and Claws in Oklahoma at four months old, fixed, UTD on vaccines. *Casey had a series of cluster seizures in foster that resulted in her initially being pulled for medical evaluation. After visits to the ER and a neurologist, she has been diagnosed with an ongoing seizure disorder that requires strict medication administration every 12 hours. It is possible with medication that she will still have breakthrough seizures and potential adopters need to be prepared for more medical needs and financial commitments than the average puppy.* *Casey would probably be most successful in a home that didn't have kids under 10 or so; while she's overall fairly mellow, she does like to puppy play and is still using her mouth when she does, so she would be a lot for very small children at the moment.* From the foster: Meet Casey. She is an absolutely adorable puppy - especially her little nub of a tail that wags a mile a minute. You need to meet her personally to see just how cute she is. In photos she looks black with white markings, but out in the sun you can see the dark brown, almost coffee, coloring. And her cookies and cream colored chest is adorable. Casey sleeps quietly all night in her crate. She also spends part of her mornings in the crate with very little whining or barking. She does very well with other dogs. We dog sat our son's greyhound while Casey was staying with us and they played well together. We took her for lunch at Lazy Dog Restaurant and she looked at the other dogs on the patio but never barked, whined, or lunged at them. She spent most of her time laying at my feet while watching other diners. Casey also lays quietly while we dine at home. She waits patiently for her dinner until we are done eating. She has a good appetite and usually finishes her meal quickly and is then ready to go out and play. When given a treat, Casey is very gentle taking it from my hand. When outside she likes to chase balls and occasionally she will even return it after showing off her zoomies. Casey has been gentle and had not destroyed any of the several chew toys we have used to let her play. It is really fun to watch her figure out some of the toys. When she is not showing off her zoomie talents, Casey is happy to stretch out on the couch and nap. We have been working on her mouthiness. Casey is still a puppy and she likes to nibble at your hands and feet while playing with you. She is very gentle when she nips. but it can be intimidating to young children. She is usually very responsive to a firm no and will settle down. Casey likes her morning walks but prefers to stop and smell the…flowers. She is interested in the other dogs and people she meets while walking, but does not lunge or bark. She is more excited when she sees a rabbit and will stop to stare at them. If you're looking for a loving puppy that will follow you everywhere, come meet Casey. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Single female transferred from Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley in NM at ~2 years old. Owners reported that she got out and was possibly pregnant when animal control officers found her and ultimately released ownership due to inability to provide basic care. She was spayed at the shelter and confirmed to have been pregnant. Nova was set for euthanasia due to "barrier reactivity" due to kennel stress which has not been observed at CPR now that she is out of the shelter environment. From the foster: My bio is coming soon! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Meet Bottle Rocket Bottle Rocket came all the way from New Mexico, and he’s ready to blast off into his forever home! This sweet cattle dog mix may be named after something explosive, but his personality is wonderfully calm and gentle. He loves snuggling up with his people, relaxing in your arms, and soaking up affection. When playtime rolls around, he enjoys wrestling with his brother before settling back down for another cuddle. Bottle Rocket is a smart little guy who is doing well using potty pads and is continuing to work on his potty training. He is also very respectful of the older dogs in his foster home and seems to understand when they want their space. He’s not burning out his fuse up here alone—he’s patiently waiting to find the family who will love him to the moon and back. If you’re looking for a calm, clever, affectionate puppy who is equal parts playful and cuddly, Bottle Rocket may be the little “Rocket Man” for you.  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2795244##

A girl with the gift of gab, she isn't shy about sharing her thoughts, dreams, and demands. Whether she's bouncing through the yard, trying to convince the dogs in her foster home that it's definitely time to play, or confidently launching herself into her next big idea, Popper lives life with her whole heart and exactly zero hesitation. She's incredibly smart, wonderfully brave, and as sweet as they come. Popper approaches every day like it's the greatest adventure she's ever been on, convinced everyone she meets is going to want to join her. She absolutely loves the dogs in her foster home and greets each one with endless enthusiasm, completely certain they'll be thrilled to meet her too. Story
We adopted Bowie through a local rescue in May 2021; he was about 3-4 months. Bowie is now 5 1/2 years of age. Bowie is incredibly loyal and loving, and over the last five years, we have shared a beautiful life with Bowie. He's a great traveler and companion. Bowie thrives in a home that is quieter and offers predictability. Over the last few years, Bowie has been startled by a few visitors in our home, and unfortunately, two of those occasions have resulted in biting. My husband and I feel that Bowie would be most successful in a home that does not have children or other pets. Bowie has a lot of love to give and we believe that he could thrive in a quiet home with someone who maintains a low-key lifestyle. He enjoys walks and does not have huge energy needs. Our home environment is about to change as we are welcoming our first child soon. We hope we can find a loving and safe new home for our sweet pup to land.
