Cindy is a 1 yr old Border Collie who is a bit timid on first meeting but warms up quickly (especially given a treat!) She is very active and will need a fenced in yard and an active family, preferably one who has experiece with the breed. You must be willing to give her daily exercise. She is dog friendly and would do better with older children.Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received. Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. I can be a little scared when meeting new people, but I am quick to warm up. I am good getting a leash on, but can get a little excited and pull people around at first, but with some gentle reminding will stay with my walker. I came from a home that spoke Spanish regularly, so a home that would help me learn in the language I know would be great. I am learning some English here at the shelter, overtime I will be a well trained and happy boy in my furever home.
