Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Capitan is the sweetest little boy.  Well not super little, he is probably around 25-30 pounds now and will most likely get a little bigger.  We are unsure of his breed, he looks like he has border collie in him but probably also some terrier, maybe lab, his coloring suggests dalmatian.  He is amazing with other dogs and kids, loves to snuggle.  We are not sure how he would be with cats in his home but at our events he doesn't even seem to notice them so he probably won't care.  He is working on potty training but is crate trained and does pretty well on a leash.  He loves the water and mud so heads up.  One thing you need to know...he is deaf, and mostly blind, he lost one eye (congenital issue and it was removed), the other eye is not great either.  We think he can see shadows because he navigates his surroundings just fine, even when he is in a new place.  He would benefit from someone who has experience with a deaf and blind dog as training is difficult since he can't hear.  But he is so easy going he would be fine as long as his people do their research and learn with him.  Otherwise he is healthy, he is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400 To adopt Capitan, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 23, 2025, 10:48 am

Story
Born: April 20, 2025 I'm 58 lbs., and I am seeking my forever home! Adoption Donation: $450 Introducing Brady! Brady is a handsome Border Collie/American Staffordshire mix who would love to find his forever home! He is a puppy who deserves the chance to grow up in a loving home. After being abandoned on the side of the road with his five littermates, he came to us for a fresh start and the opportunity to experience the safety and care every puppy should know. Is Brady the one for you?  All of Brady’s siblings have found their forever homes, and now he’s patiently waiting for his turn. He’s still a puppy with so much ahead of him — ready to learn, bond, and grow alongside a family of his own. Brady is looking for a home that will give him the love, guidance, and stability he’s been waiting for. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, joy, and the chance to watch him blossom into a wonderful companion. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.
