Nori is a beautiful 4-year-old rescue, 51% Collie and 49% German Shepherd. She is incredibly intelligent, affectionate, loyal, playful, and forms very strong bonds with her people.As Nori reached social maturity, some underlying anxiety and behavioral tendencies became more pronounced, particularly around our other female dog. We have had her evaluated and have worked hard to understand and manage her needs, but despite our efforts, maintaining a peaceful environment between the dogs has become increasingly difficult.We believe Nori’s happiest life would be in a calmer, predictable home where she can be the only pet and live without small children. She would do best with an experienced, patient owner who can provide structure, consistency, exercise, and lots of affection.We love Nori deeply. This decision is about giving her the opportunity to feel secure, relaxed, and thrive in an environment better suited to her needs.

Gabby is one super-sweet girl and a total staff favorite! She is always ready for snuggles, pets, and a good time. She may be a tripod, but don’t tell her that—this girl doesn’t let anything slow her down! She walks wonderfully on leash, loves to romp and play, and gets along great with other dogs. Plus, she’s the perfect size for all the cuddles she plans on giving! Gabby is proof that having three legs just means having three times the personality—and she’s ready to bring all that love and fun into her forever home!   Born: December 05, 2025 I am currently 28 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $550 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. This fuzzy little lovebug is eager to please and just waiting for his forever person or family to choose him. What’s he like? Great with other dogs and loves to play. Equal parts Velcro pup and independent entertainer — he’ll happily dig through the toy basket and keep himself busy. Knows not to chew furniture or shoes, though socks and dryer sheets are his weakness (he’ll drop them when asked!). Can get overstimulated in chaotic environments and prefers slow introductions. He may take a minute to warm up, but he’s worth the wait. Once he trusts you, he is the sweetest snuggle bug who just wants to be close to his person. What can he do? Kennel trained (sleeps through the night and goes in on command). Fully potty trained with subtle but clear cues. Excellent in the car — calm, comfy, and observant. Recently graduated a 10-day obedience program! He knows “wait,” “place,” “come,” “heel,” loose-leash walking, and more. His perfect match? ✔️ Someone committed to continuing his training and staying consistent. ✔️ A confident, dog-savvy adopter who can guide him and help build his confidence. No cats please!
