He is a blind neuro boy and because of this it will take time and patience for him to adjust. He may act out in fear. He occasionaly has night terrors. He will need to get familiar with his new person's scent and voice to know they are near. We are looking for a special person, preferably who has experience with a blind pup and Is willing to discuss and work with him. Link is very fearful of other animals and would do best in a home with only adult humans and a fenced yard.  He will always be a pup. Link has an amazing personality and is very loving, especially to those who give him belly rubs and food (his two favorite things). He knows his crate is a safe place and gets very comfortable. He loves to run and play in the yard. Online Adoption Application › Meet Kiwi!  She's super sweet and very energetic! She'd make a great running/hiking buddy! With some good play time and enrichment, she's great! She'd probably be better off in a home with no cats and children that can handle her active personality. She's very dog friendly and loves people!   Kiwi is housetrained, kennel trained, not too bad on a leash but she’s working on it. She’s not scared of anything! She’s not fearful of loud noises, the water hose, the leaf blower, thunderstorms…. nothing! She loves car rides!! I’m not super fond of kids around the same hight as me but I like playing with kids bigger than me! In 2024 I had a surgery to correct my patellar luxation, but I’m all better now! I would love to go home with someone active who likes being outside and playing fetch. I need to run!

Kobe is 6 years old and we adopted him in 2020 when he was 8 weeks old. He has separation anxiety and requires medication to be crated and has been destructive when left in an enclosed area for a long period of time. He’s an extremely sweet and smart dog and learns extremely quick. You are able to take away his food without aggression and he plays with other dogs well. We recently had a baby, and he’s become possessive over the baby’s toys (not his own). He’s been nothing but sweet toward the baby, but has snarled, growled, and snapped when we take away the baby’s toys from him, which is out of character. We love him dearly, but can’t risk any aggressive behavior around our soon to be mobile baby. Has never shown aggressive behavior prior.

Lynk is an 8-month-old, 38-pound, fixed male Border Collie and Shepherd mix. He can be shy in new situations! He is reported to be good with cats, dogs, and children. He still needs help with his potty training - a strict schedule can go a long way in success!ADOPTION FEE: LOCAL $100 NON-LOCAL $140All dogs receive at least 1 distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccine. If possible, a heartworm test will be done, and if negative, the dog will be started on heartworm prevention. All animals receive flea and parasite prevention/treatment and will be microchipped.All animals can go home the same day as adoption. We will need your photo ID, and you will sign some documents. Adopters will also receive a copy of the animal's medical history to date. We do not do an application process. All adoptions are first-come, first-served. We do not offer holds.In most cases, we do not require that adopters bring all their family members and dogs to a meet-and-greet. But we do highly encourage it. We are happy to introduce the new dog to your dog(s) at the shelter. No appointment necessary.We do offer home trials for dogs over 6 months old for about a week. You will not need to pay the adoption fee (spay-neuter deposit) ahead of time, but if you decide to adopt, you will need to return to the shelter to complete the paperwork and pay the adoption deposit. If you do not wish to complete the adoption, you can bring the dog back at any time during normal business hours during your home trial period. We do not allow after hours drop off.
