Jax is a sweet, loyal, good dog. He is 100% housetrained and never had an accident inside in his foster home. He's curious about everything, and could walk miles with you He likes cats, but not dogs so much. He would need close supervision around children, but likely would be best in a home without. Jax has what we at the shelter call ""stranger danger."" and takes a while to trust people, but when he does, he's your best bud. Jax needs a person who has long experience with dogs, just plain loves them, and has the patience and understanding to see beyond his initial gruffiness. Story

Barlow is a sweet boy who loves to play ball or fetch, going on car rides or long walks! He is a reddish brown and white border collie shepherd mix called a McNab Shepherd. He is almost 6 years old. We were fostering this dog and can no longer keep him. We work too much and travel on the weekends. He would thrive in a home with family around all day and a big yard to run around. He would do best with an older dog to keep him in order in the pack. He does have separation anxiety, which is why it's hard for us to give him what he needs, as much as we've tried. He can be food aggressive so it would be best to have separate feeding times for any other animals in the house. He usually gets along with cats as he lived with our older cat. We are having a hard time finding a home for him after tapping out all of our resources for months to find someone to adopt Barlow for his forever home!
