He's curious about everything, and could walk miles with you He likes cats, but not dogs so much. He would need close supervision around children, but likely would be best in a home without. Jax has what we at the shelter call ""stranger danger."" and takes a while to trust people, but when he does, he's your best bud. Jax needs a person who has long experience with dogs, just plain loves them, and has the patience and understanding to see beyond his initial gruffiness. Hi, I am Rosie I am 5 years old; birthday is Aug.01.2016. I was adopted on Apr. 20, 2019. I enjoy running around, playing with toys, and cuddling. I am very vocal and sassy. I like to have all attention on me. I do not like to share my toys or owner with any other dogs. I used to live with German sharped who was my best friend and a pit bull/boxer mix who was my friend until he decided I wasn’t anymore and attacked me on a few occasions. The last time he attacked me I had to go to the vet, which wasn’t fun. I am now very anxious and very uncertain around other dogs, especially brown/white ones. I know I can be myself again with time and effort which unfortunately my owner does not have due to health reasons. I also don’t like fireworks or loud sounds like that. I am on medication for anxiety 100mg of trazodone. I am also microchipped.
