Story
Liam is a 1-year-old Border Collie mix with a striking black-and-white coat that has just the right amount of fluff—soft, stylish, and impossible not to admire. But what really sets him apart are his eyes: one warm brown, the other a brilliant blue with a unique streak of brown running through it. They’re truly unforgettable and perfectly match his one-of-a-kind personality. Unlike your typical high-energy Border Collie, Liam is one of the more easygoing pups we’ve met. Indoors, he’s all about the chill life—often found sprawled out in the lobby while the day goes on around him. He enjoys playtime when the mood strikes, but he’s just as happy relaxing, soaking up attention, and popping up occasionally for pets and adorable nose boops. Outside is where Liam really lights up. Exploring is his absolute favorite activity—new smells, new sights, new adventures! Whether he’s sniffing out his surroundings or romping around with his dog friends, he embraces every moment. He sometimes gets a little distracted trying to herd his buddies (classic Collie move!), but overall he plays wonderfully with other dogs. Liam does great with dogs and kids, and while he’s still quite curious about cats, he shows potential to get along with them given proper introductions. He’s fully potty-trained and crate-trained, though he may still whine a bit in his crate—he’s improving every day! If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-balanced companion who can match your adventurous side while also enjoying the quiet moments, Liam might just be your perfect match.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bear is a very handsome blue heeler, looking for an experienced dog owner to have a GREAT life with! Bear is super smart, and he loves to play with other dogs around his size. He requires a home with a playful and submissive canine companion near his size, he especially responds well to female dogs.  Bear is kennel trained as well as potty trained.  He loves to go for long walks and explore, he will make a superb companion for a very lucky owner! Bear does have stranger danger/reactive fears, he came to Last Hope very untrusting of people.  He has done great working with a firm and consistent handler, and will require this is his forever home but will likely always be initially reactive to strangers. Our volunteers have worked with him and found him to be a very friendly and affectionate dog, although he still requires slow and controlled introductions with strangers and will need an owner that appreciates his breed and unique needs. He does seem to settle faster with women.  No children, no cats and preferably a homeowner with a physical fenced in yard.  Bear's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, current vaccinations, and microchip.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, current on preventatives and vaccinations, and be altered.  Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and a home visit.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 11:31 am
