Story
This is athena. She is 4 years old, her birthday is january 23rd 2022. We got her from somebody on Facebook Jan, 2025 to keep her from going to the shelter. Sadly after having her for a little over a year, we don't think a dog is right for our family at this time. She is a great dog but we have 4 small children so it's just too hard to keep up with them and her. She will come with a fair deal of stuff, toys, some food, leashes, collars, some shirts, i also have a kennel but not the mat that came with it. She loves stuffed animals and pools. Not a fan of hard chews and is allergic to Minties brushing chews. She is fully house trained and kennel trained, can do some tricks such as sit, jump, occasional accidental somersault. Her recall is great but you may have to call a few times if something really has her attention. She's a sweet dog, pretty well trained in my experience, I just don't think we're ready for a dog.

Story
Cedar is a high energy boy. He loves to go go go. He is very smart and knows lots of tricks. He would be great for active households or maybe even agility games. He is crate trained. He is a very sweet boy, but due to humane health conditions he is no longer able to have the active life he needs. His birthday is Aug 5, 2025. So he's just under a year old.

Story
When our weekend kennel attendant walked in and saw our newest intake, with his luscious locks, pretty face, and petite collie body, she immediately decided he had to be named PollyPocket, after the tiny 1989 dolls. It wasn't until later that she realized PollyPocket wasn't a girl! Now, Mr. PollyPocket is embracing his name, and we're pretty sure it's going to help him stand out to the perfect adopter. Mr. PollyPocket is a 6-month-old, 34-pound Border Collie/Flat-coated Retriever mix. We know his mother is a red doodle, which likely explains the beautiful burnt-orange coloring on his ears. We're still getting to know this darling boy, but one thing is already certain: he has our veterinary technician's seal of approval... and that's a pretty big deal around here. So far, Mr. PollyPocket appears to be housetrained and has done well greeting other dogs through the play yard fences. Even while adjusting to shelter life, he hasn't met a stranger. If his future family has a cat (or several!), we'll be happy to complete a cat test before he heads home. If you've been searching for a dog with the look of a larger herding breed packed into a fun-sized body, plus a friendly personality and a quirky story to match, Mr. PollyPocket might just be your perfect fit. Submit an adoption application today to be contacted about meeting this handsome little guy! Please note: Mr. PollyPocket cannot go home until after July 17th, when he is scheduled to be neutered. Applications submitted before then are encouraged so you can be pre-approved and ready to take him home that day!

Story
We got Jasper when he was a puppy at 10 weeks old. Our daughter was 12 years old then. Now she is graduating college and getting married. My husband and I are empty nesters and we don’t have the time or energy required to give Jasper the best home. He is high energy and loves to go for walks and play ball. He would be great for someone who has a farm or lots of room to roam. He will be 10 years old on May 28th. He does get scared during thunder storms or fireworks. He needs more attention than what we are able to give. We will be traveling quite a bit in the months to come and we want him to have a better home.He is currently 61 pounds and we have his vet records available.

Story
Daisy is an approximately 2½-year-old rescue dog looking for a loving home. She has been spayed and will be due for updated vaccinations soon. Daisy does great with other dogs and cats and enjoys having animal companions around. She would do best in a home with less foot traffic, as she can be anxious at times. She is housebroken, loves to play, and is always ready to be your cuddle buddy. Daisy has plenty of energy and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or with someone who enjoys taking regular walks and outdoor activities. Once she settles in, she is a loyal and affectionate companion who loves being close to her people. She is a sweet girl who just needs the right home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. ❤️🐶 If you think Daisy might be a good fit for your home, please send a message for more information.

Story
My name is Conrad. I have a sister named Rebel from the same litter and we grew up together and love being around each other. I get separation anxiety so I would love to have her come with me if I get adopted. I would do best in a home with no small animals because I chase critters in my back yard. I love to go on walks and play fetch and be near my humans.

Story
*This dog doesn’t belong to ASF and hasn’t been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Cooper! He is an 8-year-old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs around 20 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots (he is allergic to the rabies and DHPP vaccines) but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Cooper is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around younger children. He is good with older children and cats. He is good with the other dogs inside of the home but is nervous around dogs outside of the home! He isn’t housebroken or crate trained. The owner is surrendering him because her other dog doesn’t get along with him. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Cooper, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Cooper. Owner’s Contact Information: Jessica jessicakaylett@yahoo.com
